    So as most of you know, when creating a team on either Wild West, War, CTF and etc, the owner of the team makes a thread on the forums giving information about the clan / team. Although this means that if the current owner passes his ownership to another member, the thread has to be duplicated in order to edit it in the future.

    So I was wondering, can we add a button on your thread saying 'Add Players'. This simply makes the owner of the thread able to give other players permissions to edit the thread. I think this would prevent duplicate threads and easy ways to manage teams on the forums.

    I hope you guys liked the idea, please vote in the poll if this should be added or not and let me know what you think of it.

    And i can't remember what staff member said it but this CAN'T be implemented.

    Well that doesn't apply anymore since there is an Add-on for Xenforo which can make it possible. Unless Brawl's Xenforo software needs updating first, because I believe Brawl is still using a very old version.

    Even if it is possible, it sounds like a lot of work for only a very specific situation (co-managed teams).

    Ah, thanks, I didn't know the exact link to the thread. I guess I'm just bringing back this idea as I think it's very useful.

    Would it actually be so much work?

    Well its possible tho... Maybe they have to recode something but its not impossible.
    The question is if its worth the time.

    So it is a dupe thread and it shouldn't exist, also you could have just made a new comment on that thread and brought it back instead of making a completely useless thread that violates forums rules. @Lord_Roke Please lock this thread bc it is a duped thread.

    The last time I asked chickenputty if this is possible he said it isn't. I don't know if anything changed, but there are other issues:
    If you are able to edit the posts of others, who can be held responsible for rule violations? The post will still be under the name of the creator, but the content may be from someone different.

    Depends on if we know who edited what in the thread. If the rule violation got added later in the thread, the editor of that certain text should be displayed to see wrote that word / sentence.
