Minecraft Party Idea

    Dear building team,

    I have an idea, could you make a mini game that has a theme that is pokemon???? I feature you give players unlimted poke balls / eggs and that player has to catch the most pokemon / slime or magma wins poke balls are the eggs slimes and magma spawn by shooting arrows and whoever hits the most slimes or magma wins because they have the most points
    The slime and magma are different kinds of points



    Map Themes:


    1 Map will have a little chizard vs jiggypuff battle, chizard will have a fireball that is in the air in the middle the floor will be quartz.

    Well, I think it would take a lot of redstone and command blocks

    I want a new game that has action. It will be like pokemon go whoever gets the most pokemon in the pokemon balls win

    The goal is to get a lot of pokemon in the poke balls, the name will be pokemon chaos

    I don't fully get the concept of the game... Essentially what you're saying if that a player would be given some sort of projectile and potentially throw it at a mob the catch it like in Pokemon?

    This probably wouldn't be done since there are currently a lot of other priorities for building. Also, the games on party are coded, not run by command blocks. You should also be a lot more specific for this idea if you want to try and get this through.

    I think I get what he's going at. You get a ball (slime/magma cream) and a herd of mobs, or “Pokemon." Right clicking the ball throws it, and if it hits a Pokemon, kills it and gives you the points. Each Pokemon is worth different points. Sort of like Sheep Shear.

    I could see this somewhat time consuming to code but at the same time, could be interesting.

    Wouldn't be too hard, retexture an egg as a pokeball, make it is you need to throw it at a mob and then you need to collect it, different mobs would get you more points and you could get killed my the mobs.

    There will be a -50% slime

    I got more idea now the poke balls are the eggs slimes and magma spawn by shooting arrows and whoever hits the most slimes or magma wins because they have the most points

    Did we quit on this idea????

    I'm thinking about this. I really like the concept. We could use an egg plugin that allows for different "catch rates" and the peaceful mobs could be what you need to catch. (No hostile mobs because that is glitchy). Each mob breed is a different amount of points and you have to catch as many as possible. The only issue I'm having with this is that I don't want to have a separate texture pack used only for this minigame.

    I'm currently in school right now, but I'll definitely take a look at it when I get home. Keep in mind, also, that party does not currently have any devs for it, so this idea may not be implemented. I don't want to give you false hope.

    No one ever said this was going to be added defienetely. Feather just says that she wants it to be added but they would need a dev.
