    No, it's TeamSpeak. DarkTitan was allowed to apply without TS activity, but he still had to do an interview.

    But the whole point of this thread is to debate if this interview is needed on TS or if its compulsory to have TS to be staff. As mentioned above, some people are nervous about speaking to others, don't have a mic, can't use TS for some reason, have too bad internet etc.

    But why does it HAVE to be on TS? Surely you could just do it in PM. Write a list of questions, then they copy it and answer.

    In a live interview they test you with questions, unlike in a written questionnaire, you can't just look them up; you need to know the answers. Live interviews also give the staff a chance to know what you would do in a live situation, with no time to research.

    You don't know the questions that will be asked in the interview, so you can't prepare a response of reuse an old application. My responses during the interview were actually different from the application, because I got some input from other members that I felt would fit better.

    It's fine to not use a mic, 18kss rarely ever uses his. I've heard his voice like 1 or 2 times

    Yes, the interview needs to be on teamspeak. If you don't pass you do not proceed. Mods hop on to communicate with staff more than anything or to help players that are in the support channel. We have mods that are far more active in other catagories, which is fine. But no, there is no possibility of it not being a requirement. Sorry.

    That's fair enough. I suppose TS would be good, but I'm not sure if it should be requirement still.



    Im just going to pretend that I didn't read what you just said, I'm going to continue with the arguement that TS shouldn't be a requirement.

    You are recommended to have a mic. Some players prefer to type then to speak. 18kss and I both prefer to type. I will sometimes talk but rarely.
