    This is expected behaviour. The data is ordered in a heirarchical format, where child elements are more specific information than parent elements. Since your age is considered more specific information than your birthdate, you are unable to display the more specific year without enabling its less specific parent.

    Dude. Its like 20 seconds, did you watch the whole thing? You can enable the less specific parent only, enable the child and the parent, disable the child and the parent will stay enabled. However you can't disable the parent unless you re-enable the child again.

    The year field is implied to be disabled regardless of its state if you disable its parent field.

    Well its still checked, and the code says its disabled. Thats a glitch in my book

    Ok. Translating Phanta smarty language.
    Basically, even if you manage to click the "show birth year" check box, without having the top one checked, any others below it become void. So even if you did that, it still wouldn't show your birth year. It just wouldn't show your birthdate at all. Locked. Pm me for questions or concerns.
