The arena sword

    So, the sword is currently enchanted with knockback I. And after playing a game of HG with Gladiator (8 kills), I realised that if you use the sprint-reset technique to get more knockback, you legitimately knock someone thorughtt the ENTIRE Gladiator arena. Therefore, I suggest that the sword is not enchanted at all because it's really overpowered otherwise.

    If it were just a regular stone sword, there wouldn't be much of a point in having the arena since stone swords aren't that hard to get. Honestly, I'd rather see the reward being some credits rather than a bonus in the game.

    But the sword is just too strong right now.

    How about this: a Sharpness 1, Durability II wooden sword?

    I'm not too sure if the wooden sword would do more or less damage than a regular stone sword, so I'm not really sure if that's worth it or not. But even if it was, the whole concept of the arena would still be wrong - the person who gets the most kills, theoretically the best player in the server, is getting a reward that gives them a further advantage in the game. Giving them a physical item would still be an issue - they should get given stuff like credits instead.

    Would be a good idea to add the credits as then people would actually try to get the sword rather than feel they have to go afk until the game starts

    Bump because this is getting worse. In a Gladiator arena, you can literally just keep someone in a corner with the sword.
    If you have OP ping (@HalOTacon) you can just give someone hits from 5 blocks (which is just broken.). The sword needs to be just a stone sword.
