Soup HFC?

1.8 will be a huge issue no famous mc youtubers will play the server, everyone plays 1.7, if you actually wan't this to be a sucessfull release, it has to be 1.7, unless there is no idea to even try to get it.

Well, for people to die refill can't be a thing, it should be that soup gives more hearths (5 or so) then usuall, so the fight don't end very quickly.

the work has to be done then, unless raid/souphcf will never become popular

 

I don't think you understand how much work this will take... I don't think its worth it tbh. Raid was popular last map when it was 1.8 so I don't see why you keep fighting for this version.

Money doesnt come with being lazy, You have to work hard for what you want, It's called running a server. it takes alot of work to make a server good but pays off in the future @0racle.

Anyway, the lack of players is what's causing a lack of players. Raid is a social game and without other players it is basically survival.

We need to give players a reason to get other players on. We need boosts, because if your team has a status effect that you all can take advantage of (such as haste for mining obby, or water breathing for raiding an ocean monument), you are more likely to have people on.

We need refer-a-friend bonuses.
We need youtubers.
We need events.
We need giveaways (for example, give away boosts for the server at random times a random players that is on.)
We need better advertising.

I know everyone is butthurt by 1.8, but it's not 1.10 (and my thought is that 1.10 could be tweaked to be similar to 1.8 PVP wise, and allow us to get players with the current MC client).

I doubt any of this will happen. I just packed up my bases this morning and sold the contents, and while I'm hoping for better days, I'm on the fence about leaving for a month or two.

Look at this from a lack of people problem, not a lack of technology problem.
