Since the new sheriffs were recruited, I've seen only maximum one sheriff on.

Mines are still PvP-safe, aren't they? I feel there's a place where new players earn money.

And if you're new it doesn't mean sheriffs kill you. It's enough that you know when to run away.

 

You are really sad, you attempt to contradict anything we say because you died several times to us. To be honest I'm not even sure how you got sheriff, you hold grudges openly. When we are at wg half of us don't even process. We are just there to have fun and fight, so the 'wealth' argument is invalid. I doubt you would be saying this crap if you hadn't fallen victim to us. We try to be nice to people, but it's a shame you can't see it.

Wrong, repeater > tg. Repeater does 28 damage (i forget), tg does 19. Coach fires twice as many pellets as the model, but with a halved fire rate. So the coach is essentially the same as the model. Revolver deals more damage than the mauser at a faster fire rate, so that is false. Even if kevlar reduces less damage than diamond, it still offers more protection from illegal guns than diamond offers to sheriff guns. Not fair.
As for helping noobs goes, we have been trying to not do base checks that often and spare some noobs. For those of you who think the game is 'fair', you are deluding yourselves. Even if clap made it hard for noobs to process, sheriffs will do it even more so. The above average bandit in carcano and indian will easily die to a cuffer, and there will be a absurd amount on. It will literally be gang rape.

Then tell us, what is your idea of 'balance'? That way, if the rest of the server doesn't like it, you can change it before you finish whatever you're doing to fix the current system.

Mining is such a crappy profession because noobs get 1 ore per mine. 'Eula friendly' ranks give up to 4. That may be safe, but its pay2win.

Mining should be buffed in my opinion.

Actually the carc fires faster and the T-G does more damage to sheriffs than the repeater does to bandits.

Wrong because you're not taking into account armor reduction. Base damages don't mean crap really. It's how much final damage they do that makes all the difference.
T-G:
Body shot to sheriff armor - 3.34400 hearts on average
Headshot to sheriff armor - 6.68800 hearts on average

Repeater:
Body shot to full D - 2.9 hearts
Headshot to full D - 5.8 hearts

Yes, the repeater can technically kill a bandit faster than the T-G can kill a sheriff, but only if the sheriff double headshots the bandit. You do realize that the T-G only needs one headshot and one bodyshot to kill, right?

Incorrect again. The coach fires 7 bullets, not 10. The model fires 5 pellets. Here are the coach's and the model's values:

Coach Gun:
All bullets hitting body to full D - 2.8 hearts
All bullets hitting head to full D - 5.6 hearts

RoF (Rate of Fire): Fires once approximately every .86 seconds. (69.7674419 RPM)
Base DPS (Damage per second): 32.5581395
DPS to full D all bullets hitting body - 3.25581395 hearts per second
DPS to full D all bullets hitting head - 6.51162791 hearts per second

Model:
All bullets hitting body to sheriff armor - 3.52 hearts on average
All bullets hitting head to sheriff armor - 7.04 hearts on average
All bullets hitting body to kevlar - 2.56 hearts on average
All bullets hitting head to kevlar - 5.12 hearts on average

RoF: Fires once approximately every .6 seconds. (100 RPM)
Base DPS (Damage per second): 33.3333333

DPS to sheriff armor all bullets hitting body - 5.86666667
DPS to sheriff armor all bullets hitting head - 11.7333333

DPS to kevlar all bullets hitting body - 4.26666667
DPS to kevlar all bullets hitting head - 8.53333333

The Revolver fires more slowly and has a much smaller clip, so no it isn't. :V

Kevlar makes the T-G do less than one heart of damage less than the repeater. It does make it worse than the repeater however. The model still blows the coach gun, and quite frankly, everything a sheriff has out of the park even with kevlar. I mean, take a look at this DPS. (Damage per second)

DPS to kevlar all bullets hitting head - 8.53333333

If a sheriff gets anywhere near a bandit, they're screwed. Now imagine a team of bandits. :v

Nerfed sheriffs and bandits is the ideal balance. There aren't any confirmed specifics yet.

 

When creating tldR's please refrain from adding your biased opinion. Hate to tell you all this, not really, but if it wasn't for signatured and mario you all wouldn't even have a Minecraft server. Can you all stop being so selfish? It's actually sickening. How childish of you to assume that you know better about what's good for the server than the people that MADE it. I'm ashamed of wildwest right now and I can only imagine what the new players must think with you all arguing all the time. Talk it through civilly! Slandering is just petty.

 

Yea I'm done seeing this arguing. Mario has spent hours talking to ME and RANDOM about how to fix this. As of right now he is working his ass of trying to fix it, but instead of doing that, he has to come to the forums to people trash talking him. Random, feather, and Mario are putting so much thought into this to fix it. The game isn't broke, it is just challenging. I can't believe the game full of hardcore bandits turned into a bunch of complaining pansies. Like wth happened to this game? Nothing enough to make it unplayable, we just spoiled the players is what.

Stop complaining and make a thread with ideas that will benefit the server, not just yourself or your team. Ideas don't take seconds to come up with or minutes to write about. Ask random, this ****er took like days writing and organizing YOUR ideas so that we could use them as a idea base. So stop complaining, and go process or something.

 

@Carcano, you are right I was being disrespectful and childish towards you and Joker. I wrote my reply hastily and did not consider the reprocusussions. We might fight eachother in Wild West, but I don't want to do it here. And again I am sorry.

 

Surely you should be able to think of ideas yourself then? I've not seen you with any better suggestions?

Also, simple things like fixing the 1 shot glitch took days and days. It's clear you don't care about brawl.

First of all, you don't play Wild West, so I don't understand how your opinion is relevant or needed.

Second of all, we're being selfish? Trying to save a dying server? I may be missing the point with this one? Where is your logic coming from?

Third of all, it's childish to share views and opinions? Once again, I don't know what makes you superior over other players. Once again you've not given one good option to do with Wild West or Brawl in this post so how is it relevant to the original post?

Fourth of all, you're calling me bias. You're a mod, and you're on the side of other staff members? Shock horror. Atleast 0racle on the raid server comes up with ideas and is passionate about his server. Also, on the point about being bias, 7 out of the 8 things on your comment (For example likes, agrees etc) are from sheriffs. We're the bias ones. Okay mate.

 

Just because Feather doesn't log on doesn't mean she has no idea what she is talking about. I also have yet to see you guys try and save the server.

 

You may be right in some points, but I'm 100% sure that Feather knows what shes doing. She might not log on really frequently, but she really helps us discussing difficult issues on the staff slack.

Also, your comments really are not encouraging Mario to fix your problems. He actually does care about Wild West and is currently working on a brand new update and has already finished quite some things. Just be patient, it'll come soon.

 

There isn't much saving to be done when 9 new sheriffs are promoted, driving out the new players who decide "hey, it's impossible to get anywhere so i'll just quit". We try to do things like allowing people to process wildgrass with us, and stay there fighting for them until our last dying breath. If that isn't commitment to the server I don't know what is. We've tried over and over to argue our sides and provide a more fair environment for the server and pushed out a lot of ideas, and i'm not referring to CLAP, I'm referring to the people who love wildwest as a whole. So far, I am yet to see you provide an idea that will fix the current debate between sheriffs and bandits, other than throw negative feedback such as "you people are doing nothing to help" and that really discourages us.

 

Of course, you're showing a lot of commitment to the server. But what some of you do not seem to understand is that while you're trying to help the server, you're also breaking it by your attitude. I've seen quite some Bandits vs Sheriffs end, and most of the time ( and it doesn't matter who wins ) the chat starts to get flooded by either words like eZ, you're bad or Wow you're with too many, this is unfair.
Keep in mind that this is how the game currently is and try to find other ways than staying in one building fighting sheriffs. Imo, losing to sheriffs encourages me to earn more money and to strike back.

 

If we were all like Feather and don't log on, then Brawl wouldn't be around, so I don't understand how that is helping Brawl.

 

@RMST1 Personally I really dislike the fact that people are arguing because of the topic instead of actually doing something to fix it, like providing ideas that are actually fair, personally I think sheriff armor should be buffed, and the gun values for both should be lowered to a point that we don't 2 shot each other. I'd prefer something more along the lines of 3-4 headshots from a tg/repeater or 4-5 shotgun shots should seal the deal. Currently both our rifles 2 shot (not counting the faster fire rate because we have advantage with the model) and our shotguns also 2 shot eachother at point blank range. I feel we die too quickly, both sheriffs and bandits,.
