    In vanilla MC if you combine 2 pieces of damaged armour (of the same type) in a crafting slot, you can make a piece of armour with a higher durability. e.g. Combining 2 diamond helmets with 40 durability each, would give a helmet of 80 durability (its slightly more in actuality but this is for example purposes). Currently you cannot do this in WildWest since crafting anything is disabled, I assume to prevent people crafting diamond armour, swords, picks, etc.

    My Idea is that combining armour should be enabled since after fights you end up with lots of low durability armour and its too low to use again in another fight, but throwing it away seems like a waste.

    Combining armour should be allowed even if you have to pay a small fee

    Thats... not 1, but 2 sheriffs agreeing with something that can help non-sheriffs... what has the world come to.

    I'm on the same line with you.

    I thought about a blacksmith a while ago.; a NPC that would repair your armor with a cheap cost.I strongly think it should be a very low sum of money, for example 1g per hitpoint. This cheap way would not break the system because your D armor is very unlikely to break just because of fighting. You die usually waaaay before your armor is about to break and to find armor in chests is unlikely. This would also benefit those who want armor to be cheaper.

    This would be good for if you get a almost broken diamond set you can combine it with yours. I think its a good idea.
