Progress on War 2.0

True, this was a major disappointment to everyone. Your logic makes sense.

In project management, dashboards like the one below are used to show status, tasks completed, and milestones yet to be completed.

I can send you mine if you are interested. At a minimum, Totem should be able to populate total tasks, those completed, and those yet to be started completed. Just some ideas on managing the work. I use this on projects in much larger scope than 2.0.

These wouldn't have to be shared with the community but would show Admins roughly where everything stands.

 

Please don't tell me you dare to make a Beta release for the people with ranks... You could atleast give me the possibility to test it too :/

 

Sometimes I think it should be for people who are 30+ or are in a clan. This shows they are dedicated

 

We have the public list of tasks to do in the OP of this thread and also staff-only lists of issues/bugs that need to be addressed as well as open questions.

 

Can't you understand that if they work on an update for the current war, which they are already replacing, it will slow down the progress in 2.0?? If they update it, the change will only matter for a few months. If they try to update it and something breaks, war will be broken until 2.0 comes out, and then there will be no war at all until 2.0. It's just not worth it.

Donor guns will not be kept in 2.0, and neither will any guns or levels be kept. As I read, it will be a completely new server.

Well if that's the case, why not make it so only people with at least level 30 can test it The plugin can work by making people join it from war, and then it will check their stats, and if the person does not have at least level 30 it can deny access! I think I post way too many ideas .-.

 

I'm saying if they are going to make it so only certain people can test, they can do that, not that they should do it in the first place.

When 2.0 comes out it will be a race to get to a higher level than anyone else and everyone who has been playing war for a long time will have an op KDR XD.... It will be hard to choose which gun I like. Will there still be sniper rifles with headshots in 2.0?

Head shots do do more damage yes. There will also be assists in War 2.0. Meaning, if you give damage to someone who died by someone else, you get an assist

They probably will. Depends on the gun
