Idea Gun Knockback

    Hello

    So the guns in the Gun Arena don't have knockback. This is really over powered. If you shoot someone right now, they don't get knockback and if you shoot again it is way easier to hit them. It is also a lot more realistic if the guns deal knockback to a player.

    My ideas on the gun knockback:
    • Panzer: Give this gun a lot of knockback. It is a powerful gun and if the player doesn't get pushed back you can just keep firing. The panzer is super OP right now and with the knockback it would be slightly less op.
    • Sniper: I my opinion this kit doesn't really need knockback.
    • Soldier: This kit doesn't need much knockback either. You would get way too much knockback if you hit someone with 3 bullets in the same burst.
    • Assassian: Although it sames logic to give this gun a lot of knockback, I recommend to give it a small knockback per bullet. It has a really high firerate, so if you give it too much knockback the players will fly out of the map. The knockback on the SMGs in war are already a bit too much IMO

    Mhm when you shoot someone irl they will fly across the sky....
    People shouldnt get knockback at all. imo its fine the way it is rn

    It was just an idea and i think its good to hear your opinions.
    I still think that one gun needs knockback and that is the panzer kit.

    No. If you have an issue with Panzer being “OP" then don't engage at close range, and use your weapons' range to your advantage. And keep your head on a swivel so you don't get flanked by one.

    I use panzer myself :stuck_out_tongue: I feel too strong with it. I never fight other panzers close range.

    (IMO) I like the no knock back feature with new guns. It is new and unique and much more realistic. However it's a bit weird that when you are shot you get stuck in the same spot to put it roughly. I think it would be better if you could keep moving fluently even when being shot.
    Panzer is soooo tanky, that the person using it can just strafe up to any of the other kit users, spamming pasta, and get a "ez-one-tap". Basically what I am saying is that it can be hard to keep distance from the panzer

    I see where you guys are going with this, but gun KB isn't necessarily the answer. There are other ways to balance these kits.

    True, I just thought kb would be one of the best ways. But it is weird to only have one gun with knockback. So it is kinda true what you are saying.

    You said knockback would make guns such as Panzer less overpowered, though knockback would just help the gun user. The knockback would stop the targets sprint, thus make it more vulnerable to shots; easier to aim on. With knockback players can lead their target so that they hit every shot.

    Now it is possible to run and dodge bullets at the same time, for instance, making it hard to hit Panzer shots.
