I believe that. But, what about your first ever set of dia. Either you bought it or someone gave it you. And also for this to be true, you need to have acquired a second set of dia before u lost your first. So in your hands, this can very well be true

 

Before the economy nerfs, I never went full Diamond, only Indian + Model. I started wearing Full D around a week before I was promoted to sheriff.

 

Bring Model, Sawed-off, and T-Gewehr. You'll make your money back if you process mid-fights

Yeah, Sawed-off can 2 shot kevlar + morphine + whiskey :-:
Learn2aim. sawed can 2 shot anything at all. (If you know how to hit shotgun shots that is )

The model has suffered some serious changes, the old model was great if you knew how to hit shotgun shots, and strafe. Unfortunately now though, the sawed-off is way OP, and bandits are at a loss not using it.

During the ELITE 'week' (month) blacklist, I accumulated over 1.5 mil, and never wore diamond :V
but to be fair, a set of diamond was like 50k back then!

I definitely prefer Model/T-Gewehr, but if you do decide to take a Sawed-Off, be sure to bait your opponents to spots like behind the processing house, the alley which is only one block wide. The slow RPM and clip size is definitely compensated by the insane damage you can deal, which is almost guaranteed to be 6+ hearts, regardless of potion effects.

 

I've been a mauser user since day 1. Nearly all of my sheriff kills are with mauser cos hipfire + strafe is gr8

Now that the model was nerfed, the best set-up is obvious.
1 sabre
2 sawed off
3 model
4 mauser
5 med
6 morph
7 med/whiskey (i never use whiskey so i just put an unstacked pot in this slot)
8 bread/bandage
9 navigator

I usually just use a model and leather armor when I am doing regular processing. When I process with others I break out the diamond and maybe a T-G for taking out the sheriffs. The Sawed-Off is without a doubt viable now, however I usually stick with the model since it's more reliable and I personally like it a lot.

Of course for myself, this is all irrelevant now since I recently became sheriff again.
