It has been a while..

Basically: War 2.0 isn't done

 

Okay, let's get you up to date. So 3 years ago, War was probably one of the most popular servers on Brawl. Slowly, through the years, it gradually decreased in player count. I think at one point, War had 20 servers, and it has decreased down to 2. One of the biggest killers was earlier this year; the EULA Statement by Mojang. It basically states you can't sell Pay-To-Win items on a Minecraft server. So, Brawl had to get rid of all the stuff they were selling, including all the so called "donor guns."

It has slowly died from that point. But, there is definitely hope. War 2.0 is actively being worked on. Can't give release dates, because there are none xD you can read here to see the progress on 2.0 c:

I'd quote all the times mods+ have said that but I'm pretty sure that'd break a few character limits.

 

You have no idea how much I hate the word #soon. It needs to be blocked or rerouted to a different word.

Nothing
Terrible
Not run

 

Why, because it's completely overused by mods who can't accept the blatant fact that for three or four years we've had coders who were entirely unmotivated to work on anything that wasn't currently making them money? Because you don't want to admit that its meaning has been sucked dry by the people who believed that it was a real thing even after two years, at which point the staff team essentially said they were starting to code it? It's not a problem word, it's a problem when it's milked and beat to death by admins who want their player-base to stay for a longer time. You can't reroute the word to something else because it's used and abused by the higher staff who can't admit their problems to their followers and just say "War 2.0 won't be #soon for a while, because we have other things to code" or "We aren't currently working on War 2.0 because it's not in our current best interest."
