    I remember running out of spawn the first time on raid... I couldn't find a single mob and I had 2 hunger left. I found a dirt house with 4 porkchop, a wood sword and pick, and a few dirt, and thought it was an awesome raid.

    I ended up using a small cave near the surface to store my stuff, with a few torches to keep mobs away, yeah it was totally ghetto. It ended up getting x-rayed a few weeks later but by then I moved most of my stuff to a bigger base.

    underground base 150 blocks from South spawn.

    That isn't the original 1.7 spawn, that is yours. That wasn't your old skin either. You had a zombie skin.
