Should WarZ 7 be kept?

Yeah. I would say about 90% of the community do not want 7 to be kept... (ill expand on this later... at school )

 

WarZ 7 is a fun map to have a bunch of fights on. It's also cool for people who played at the time to go back to the original map. They should fix up the map though so it's not really griefed. It'll be a lot more fun without all the barb and random holes in the ground.

 

Ok. So the biggest problem, as WarSkater said, is that the map is griefed. It is horrible to try to fight in any of the buildings, because there is barb EVERYWHERE. Most players (except those of us who played during the first few months of warz) do not know the map and never play on it. As much as some of us like it, there are still too many people who hate it and not enough good reasons to keep this map. We should keep a map such as 2 or 5 because those maps are familiar, fun maps.
Server two is probably the best choice to keep, because there are more players (mostly non-donors) who play on the new maps. Although on the contrary, if we were to keep number five, it might encourage more people to buy ranks. Personally I want to keep 5.

 

War 7 has not undergone any QA testing or fixed many of the issues.

 

There is 2 ways of thinking this.

-Yes Keep WarZ 7 because its the first map ever and it brings backs memories and we can fix the griefed parts of warz 7 (Nether Or Snow Mainly)

Or

-No Get rid of WarZ 7 because its so greifed and its so hard to stay alive as you get shot into barb, fall into lava, or fall into traps

This needs to be sorted because in my opinion i wouldnt like warz 7 to be running. Id rather either warz 2,3 or 4

 

Server 7 should be kept in my opinion, there's a lot of fights there and usually when there are fights they turn out to be big.

 

Only because u have a big team and are all like full d on 7

I think server 7 should be another old map

 

From my observations during moderation in-game, warz 7 is not a very popular server. I believe people don't want to look back on the past and instead are turning towards a more modern version, both of the game and its map. I can't speak for the entire community, but from my time watching the player count on each server, I'd say to take out warz 7.

 

No get rid of warz 7 and bring back warz 20 or 21

Get rid of WarZ 7. most players that played on that server are long gone to be completely honest. There are some remaining, but the majority of WarZ learned the game on the old and new maps. Look at the poll above, it says it all. Most people would prefer another old/new map server as it is what we learned and loved. WarZ 7 is somewhat irrelevant at this point.

 

Sparrow is totally right! I don't know much player who played on this old servers except @Sn4x5 and some other players.

 

Listening to the community at its finest here. To be honest with only 3 servers WarZ is ****ed anyway.

 

Server 7 has been removed, Server 2 and 5 have been re-added. We are still figuring out how many the servers the box can run without lag issues, so servers might be removed/added in future.
