Gun Quality

    So.. I play this game called ARK: Survival Evolved. I won't explain the game in depth but when you get an item it has a chance of getting an item quality which means it is slightly better. Now this isn't a drastic change so I feel his could be implemented into wild west. When you buy a gun you have a slight chance of getting an item quality.

    So I don't know the exact damage of let's say the Carcano, but let's just say it's 3 hearts. So the item quality
    Normal Carcano-3 hearts
    Iron Carcano-3.25 hearts
    Gold Carcano- 3.5 hearts
    Diamond Carcano-4 hearts

    Chance of getting quality
    Normal Carcano- 84%
    Iron Carcano- 10%
    Gold Carcano-5%
    Diamond Carcano- 1%

    I think this would make items like this rarer and things that can be used in the 'black market'(Things players sells). While this a very little boost, it will stack up and make fights more valuable. For instance, the tg is a 3 shot so lets say it does 4 hearts as I think that is to full diamond armour. Suddenly if you have a diamond tg suddenly that becomes a 2 shot.

    I think guns have 2 tiers would be enough, the better tier would look enchanted to identify

    I would like this, but no matter how rare an item is it would be really op in the right hands. Could we imagine a "diamond" tier model would do? Now you might think risking something that rare is dumb, but it would give you a extreme advantage in a fire fight. Maybe leaving the "Diamond" tiers as a 1% spawn in chests in a rebel base? Thus making looting chests worth while and a team can't all camp bases with superior numbers. I think the people with insane amounts of money can easily just keep buying until they obtain these enhanced versions of the guns.

    That's just my thought on it and I hope my input helps.

    I do not like this idea. New players wouldn't be able to get those, and would be even weaker against more experienced players.

    Tommy gun fits. New type of pistol would be cool, I legit think the tg needs a change, you will never see 5 men all holding 6 feet long anti tank rifle running around with normal speed waving the gun around would you? A new decent type of rifle would be super cool, a decent size one (the size you can actually hold and doing activities normally in irl) the tg doesn't seem reasonable, at least you should have slowness while holding it, or if it's in your inventory, but the tg should for sure do a lot more dmg than it right now. Cmon, it's an anti-tank rifle, and it only does 3 hearts body shot. Add a new type of rifle that's a normal rifle size, does same dmg as the sheriff rifle, would be 100% better than the 6 feet tg that does so little dmg right now

    I like it. I might expand on this idea (adding it for all guns, changing the basic "iron carcano", "diamond carcano" thing to something which makes more sense), at a time which isn't 2am.

    I do like an idea of an illegal revolver. While the Mauser is ok, you are not going to keep shooting it over and over while the revolver culd be a gun while you're reloading. 6 simple bullets are more than ok in a gun you are only going to be using for 5 seconds.
    Right... couple of points. Firstly people with the right money would be very rarely constantly buying. On average, it would cost 600k (roughly) just to get 1 diamond tg. People could not be doing this constantly (Apart from @Eil xD). No one is invincible, and while it may give an advantage in a fight, in a 3v1 , you are very likely going to lose. Maybe the rebel base idea would be ok, but then a 'noob' could simply get it in the first chest opened. Putting it in a chest has no risk of losing anything while having it while buying you would be losing money to get it. But thank you for the input!

    A shop where u can upgrade ur gun to enhance the percentage of armour penetration will be cool . Make it as every gun has their own strength and uses , there won't be any over powerd guns nor "noobish"guns . Player these days in WW carrying illegal guns to make fears to others , its like illegal guns are op , how about legal guns ? In my preference , all the gun has the same prices ( extremely expensive ) and we only can carry 2 weapons in our inventory , which is primary and secondary . The guns we bought are not droppable , its permanent , the only way to get rid of the gun is by selling in auction or trades . Add a new feature where guns will get rusty and that the time where processed ore are needed . To upgrade a gun , simply have some processed ore with u and some money as each upgrades will be costy and resources hungry .

    You do realise it wouldn't 1 shot. From what I've been told, the sawed off does 8.5 hearts damage at max and it would do 9.5 hearts as a diamond sawed off.
