So I was thinking that the housing system is pretty simple. So I think it should be spiced up a bit.

So you would be able to buy hotels or houses and set them up for rent (credits to joker for helping me come up with this idea). In towns you would be able to teleport to your hotel as if it was an hq with something like /hotel room (# of room). So first off.

Hotels: Hotels would be located near the houses and you would be able to buy them for a BUNCH of gold. There would be like gross, broken up, with small roomed hotels that costs like 150,000 gold. The rooms would be able to fit like 2 chests in them. The rooms wouldn't have furnaces or anything in them, just like a couch some carpeting and 2 chests (max). Then there would be a normal looking hotel with loads of medium sized rooms for 250,000 gold. The rooms would be able to hold like 4 chests in them. These rooms would have 2 furnaces. Then there would be the really nice hotels. They would be nice and decorated with stuff like spruce planks, oak logs, oak planks, windows and all neatly decorated. The rooms would be BIG and be able to fit like 8 chests in them. These rooms would have 4 furnaces in them. This hotel would cost 550,000 gold.

You would have to buy the chests yourself and place them in the rooms. You can own these hotels just for yourself OR you can put them up for rent. Here are my suggested prices below.

150,000 gold hotel: 5,000 gold a week, per room.

250,000 gold hotel: 7,500 gold a week, per room.

550,000 gold hotel: 10,000 gold a week per room.

    Now for the houses part.

It's pretty much the same concept except for the prices. You can buy a house and then put it up for rent by shift + r-clicking the sign. You would need to buy 2 weeks at least to set your house up for rent. My suggested prices below.

    40,000 gold house: 10,000 gold a week.

    125,000 gold house: 15,000 gold a week.

    250,000 gold house: 20,000 gold a week.

    550,000 gold house: 25,000 gold a week.

So those were my ideas I hope you like them. And also people should be able to donate for little decorations like more carpet, stuff to make a bathroom, torches, and that's about it. Also refrigerator stuff (like 2 quartz blocks and an iron door). Other ideas should be considered first because this would be a big change to wild west. But in the long run this would only make sense to be added.

Too expensive. Houses are already only able to be afforded by the r7ch.

Actually really love this idea - Owning a hotel where players could get cheap, affordable rooms would be sick!

I really like the idea of adding hotels(inns/motels would fit the Wild West theme more), as well as the idea of being able to buy them permanently. I'm not a big fan of buying houses, and rent prices gives something for players to work for, so they shouldn't be changed.

Personally think there should maybe be a business side to WildWest - Not just hotels. In some of the GTAs you can own businesses and things, and go pick up the money from them. This could be a side to WildWest, maybe where you own a fishing company, or Hotel etc. And it creates revenue for you which you have to go to the location and pick up to actually gain it. You might have to do jobs, like repair hotel, cleaning (not sure how it would work), you could upgrade your hotel, harbour etc. Not just hotels is what I'm saying - Could be a whole other side to WildWest.

The game atm isn't too complex. Its just the tutorial could be better, and the emphasis that /faq is a command and is helpful needs to be stressed more.

I disagree. It took me well over two weeks to have a mediocre understanding of the gamemode. Many new players don't have that kind of patience and quit.

I know, I'm saying the tutorial, or first login needs to have a much more in-depth look at how the game works, basic tactics. Ask the majority of new people and they won't even know that fighting back to sheriffs is allowed - Why? because there is nowhere that says it. It may seem like common knowledge but it isn't.

But even that wouldnt mean that we have to add more complexity
