#MakeBrawlGreatAgain (uncut) - suggestions to fix Brawl.

So, I decided to get around and finally give my last 2 ****s cents about Brawl and how to fix it. I made a thread like this before, but it was met with mixed reactions and didn't really resonate well within the community. I have no idea how this will be received and could care less about Brawl. I will keep this thread short and somewhat readable.


1. Low player count - there's not much Brawl can do besides paying a youtuber (-s) and making a brand new trailer for the network. The new trailer should showcase the coolest stuff on Brawl (including CTF) and updates. If it's possible, send out emails in which you notify about the update to Brawl.

2. Lack of communication between community and staff - this happens everywhere and isn't exclusive to Brawl. The best way to adress this is by setting up open polls and asking the community if they (dis)agree with changes which the staff proposes (especially with balancing in CTF and other servers). This would prevent many unwanted changes.

3. Inability to keep old players - the right way to do this is by setting up some kind of a reward system which rewards you not only for voting, but for logging in on the server every day and doing stuff. Perhaps create a global achievement system where you can earn points and buy cool stuff with them.

4. Low forums activity - and yet people are wondering why everyone is leaving? The true solution to this is by keeping forums interesting - do this by setting up daily/weekly discussion threads and by getting rid of retarded achievement posts (which no one gives a **** about, let's be honest) as well as making the community care.

5. Death of Raid and other kewl servers - the real issue was in the fact that Raid was ruined by power monopoly - there were very few strong teams and those essentially prevented other teams (including mine) from doing stuff b/c of the fact that they probably had a full map tracker within the first few weeks. Humble player's bases were constantly getting raided and my team saw no motivation to continue. What's the point to keep on playing raid when all my good stuff is gone and I will lose it again and again b/c I have no way to prevent my stuff from being raided?
