    Sup Brawlers,

Communication is one of the more important aspects of playing with friends.

In the following thread, I will explain how I use positioning directions and an efficient way to tell people where to go.

This will help you communicate more efficiently with your friends and reduce the time spent trying to explain where you need them to go.

I use these tools with friends. The terminology and concepts are easy to understand. It also makes it more efficient to communicate when you can't see your teammates screen.

    Scenario 1:

Let's say you are playing with a friend and you have a sniper straight ahead of you.

While talking to your friend you would say from my position, I have a sniper at 12 O'clock.

    Scenario 2:

If there is a sniper behind you, you can say I've got a sniper on my 6 O'clock.

    Scenario 3:

If there is a sniper to your right you can say "I've got a sniper on my 3 O'clock and so on.

Below is a clock with military time to help you use as a reference.

Below is a football route tree. This is a tool to help you explain to your teammate where you need them to go. The idea is to be able to communicate quickly and efficiently.

If your friend is to the left of you, use the image on the left. If your team mate is to the right of you use the image to the right.

    Scenario 1:

Let's say you are playing with a friend and you have a sniper straight ahead of you.

While talking to your friend you would say from my position, I have a sniper at 12 O'clock can you run a flat.

This will give him an idea of where the sniper is and position you both distances away so one of you can take him out.

    Scenario 2:

If there is a sniper behind you, you can say I've got a sniper on my 6 O'clock can you run a screen? This will let your friend know to run behind you.

    Scenario 3:

If there is a sniper to your right you can say "I've got a sniper on my 3 O'clock can you run a curl.

So endeth the lesson, have fun out there.

    Evil

What's the point of using this if the enemy team can see the chat? It's not seperated for teams.

Another great guide Evil, keep it up!
I would imagine he is saying this could be useful in a scenario where you are talking to a teammate over TeamSpeak, Skype, Discord, etc.

Why is he suggesting something like this when he has never used any of these methods besides chat?

    What the hell?
You're over complicating a super simple thing.
If you really want to go this tryhard, then just make callouts for spots on the maps and say "rush tower" or "flank halls" or "sniper in nest."

Your solution just makes it far more difficult to understand.

God dude, even the most tactical shooter, CS:GO doesn't have these many confusing tactics. If you really want to devise a system to help with teamwork, google "csgo pro voice comms" and see what they say.

In America, we play football and these are common routes for receivers (it's called a route tree) and thus easy to understand....unless you don't play American football then you'd probably have no clue what any of this means.

In America, we (most people) see more simple and effective ways to communicate that do not involve arbitrary "plays" that only serve to confuse all parties involved.

Wait a minute. CSGO the most tactical shooter? HELLO?!?!? This game has guns from coding 20 million years ago... When you point your gun at someone, it fires a bullet in the oposite direction. There is so strategy involved. Only da HACKS!!! (Also side note: never bet on ibuypower! Just lost 183$ in skins to them. I swear to god they threw that match ;p)
