    hello.
im posting this thread in regards to the server option to run in 1.10.
alot of the games that are run dont work properly with 1.10

War; doesnt let you join, gives you error message:
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.Decoder.Exception: Java.IOException: packet 0/72 (ie) was larger than i expected, found 373 bytes extra whilst reading packet 72
-brings you back to server list-

WarZ; Playable to an extent, causes you to lag out, brings you back to the hub/lobby

    MinecraftParty: Playable, no issues whatsoever

Raid: received some minor lag, maybe its just me.

Kit Brawl: Playable, no issues whatsoever

    MinecraftBuild: Playable, no issues whatsoever

Wild West: Received some minor lag, maybe its just me

    CTF: Playable, no issues whatsoever

Based on the information ive gathered, its War and WarZ that conflict with playablility on Version 1.10 or higher. if possible, could these issues be fixed? i understand that one persons' opinion is meaningless, but surely there are others who use 1.10 for the server, right? anyways, enough about my ramblings. ttfn

I had the same errors a few months back but not with the 1.10 version of Minecraft. Honestly I don't know how this has been fixed by then but this error is a network connection error with spigot 1.10 (or higher) (http://netty.io/4.0/api/io/netty/ha.../DecoderException.html#io.netty.handler.codec)

    Try to:
-Check that your network connection is enabled, and that no programs are blocking outgoing connections.
-Try disabling any existing firewall program, or changing its configuration options.
    -Restart your modem/router.

There's not going to be any development on War or WarZ until the new versions of the gamemodes are released. They will be compatible with 1.10

The best version to play Brawl on is 1.8.9.

I understand that, but 90% of the servers i use are running with 1.10
i find it pointless to have to switch back and forth just to play War or WarZ. either im just lazy or i dont care enough. maybe both? XD
