    Hey guys.
I suppose a big part of this community are usual Youtube users, so you guys probably know about the new algorithm system and the subscribing and unsubscribing features.

What does the Brawl community think about these things? If you don't see what I'm talking about, just search, i know that Pewds, h3h3 and prob more talked about that, idk I'm principally following the French Youtubers.

    So, thoughts?
    Cya

YouTube's management is incompetent and their treatment of both rewind and copyright issues clearly show that they don't give much of a damn about small content creators and prefer large companies with years of experience instead (see buzzfeed and all of those channels - they have a lot bigger work force behind them).

I don't intend to watch a video about people talking about the new features, what are they?

Excuse me bud, I'd be pleased to help you in French, because it's based on things I can't explain in English. Maybe someone can explain you.

Concretely, Youtube wants to kill their video creators.

    Yeah, basically.

YouTube has changed their algorithm to make it so your raw viewing times promote your content, over their quality or their individuality.

So, things like brilliant little sketches under 5 minutes will receive less views while a sh*tty, repetitive buzzfeed video that's 20 mins long will be boosted to oblivion.

YouTube legitimately doesn't seem to care about their creators anymore, since now big companies like buzzfeed and things with huge production teams and the ability to churn out videos daily like that are able to draw more viewing hours by stomping on people who put love and care into their videos.
