Add back grapples

how about no? xD Poor little people like me have a hard enough time already.

 

Better ping = more grapple hits
People always ask for 2014 back. We removed grapples like in early 2014.

 

You only want them back, because you play on a practice server and use them 24/7 ;p

All of the players who have amazing ping and who always grappled on the ground and stuff have basically gone now, so I think grapples should be added back again. One of the only reason's grapples were removed was because of the people who abused them pretty much so everyone else voted to remove them. All of those players are all gone now so add grapples back please.

 

ShadowWolf, DashedPoppy. They started it as well. One is banned and the other is his best friend. It's not affecting the community at all, as the same amount of players are still playing if not more.

 

Whats funny, is that the best speed grappler (shadow) still plays, and plays even more now that grapples were removed...

 

The community voted on it. It was Wario's idea, the rest of the community went through with it.

 

We are never going back to grapples. It just shows unfairness between the different countries (US-EU)

 

Grapples were possibly the stupidest and most unfair addition to this server ever made.

They only benfitted people with <20 ping, and just became a crutch for a bunch of players.

Maybe if they were implemented differently (grapples move you in the air in a straight line at a very slow pace) they could have worked.

 

who cares its not the same without them just because someone is better than you with grapples doesnt mean they need to be removed. idk why diamond and guns arent gone by now

 

It's not useful unless you're good, though, is it? They're the only semi-decent good players that use it as an unfair advantage. The rest of the people who do always ruin themselves in the process.

Nothing has changed. I've been here for the entirety of it. It's benefitted in anything.

 

Camping spots can be fixed. Senior Moderators need to take action to help improve the worse areas. It's not too hard. Wario fixed a few areas in snow that had become a problem and now, it's much easier to get around in. Most camping spots should be left alone, though, because it adds a sense of difficulty and cover for players who do not have large teams.

I, for one, had used grappling hooks to get over buildings. It was a very miniscule part of my playstyle. Spamming the ground just to get a speed boost, though. It's very overpowered, especially when players with lower ping get to use it more often. The old sugar was edited between the 2nd map and 3rd map back in June of 2014 a long while back, changed to speed I instead of speed II for the same reason as the grappling hooks, they became extremely overpowered as people learned how to use them correctly.

Grappling hooks were voted on and the removal option won in a landslide, a vote of 36-13 (a 73% vote for the removal of grappling hooks). Bones were requested to stay and did not receive as much of a majority to the option of removing them. Thus, they were kept and grapples were not.
