Change to Sheriff

I kinda agree, but it isn't very noob friendly. I just knifed someone to death at shrooms base and then I have to die, it just doesn't seem fair... I think instead of implementing the handbook, some changes need to made to the tools. Maybe like it takes 2 seconds to ticket someone.

 

Shoot rogues on sight? Count me in! I love shooting way more than cuffing, but what about if the rogue is in a town or mine? Obviously Cuff 'em.

I use my guns. I only cuff you guys when you don't see me, when you see me, I'm screwed.

 

I would love to be able to KOS rouges! First off, cuffing isn't my thing :v second, That would be a game changer in some fights because you guys always shoot first. I prefer shooting than cuffing, but sometimes you have to cuff when they aren't kos.

And often, with the respawn timer, we don't get there in time, so we have to die again. This cycle repeats unless doners are on and tp to an alive one

Sometimes people accidentally click people and don't mean to go rouge.

 

Tough cheese to them. They would get arrested anyway.

 

This has been a problem since I've played WildWest, about 7 months ago. After killing sheriffs, they come back repeatedly. Your best bet is to hold roofs that they can't get onto easily, or that's what I would do.

 

Sheriffs are meant to stop illegal activity - When there is 3 teams at WG all teaming together totalling about 10 players. (This is an example from yesterday) - Sometimes it was 2 sheriffs, sometimes it was 3, however the point of sheriffs are not to be defeat-able every time, sometimes they are meant to win. If kill one of the 10 people before getting killed by the other 9 - We solved nothing. They take our heads, use them /bail the person who died, person who died TPs back (or travels), and picks up the gear from their body, and by the time we arrive back at WG - There are 10 people again.

While we get free gear (unless we buy Kevlar, and pots are expensive too) if you remove cuffing rogues, it means the chances of us beating a 10v3 near impossible. When I was a bandit I loved killing sheriffs, even if I was outnumbering them by a long way - Who wouldn't, its fun. But, since experiencing sheriff myself, I've seen its quite unfair on sheriffs in these situations. Now of course there are situations where it is unfair on bandits, but removing cuffing for rogues would basically mean the sheriffs could never stop these large teams, which is not whats meant to happen.
