    Okay so....before you spam NO on the vote hear me out...when ever new sheriffs are accepted and promoted into the game mode the older (senior) sheriffs often times resign. A way we can reduce the resign to promotion ratio could be sheriff ranks. This would also allow the sheriffs to show the amount of exprience they have. The first rank when you are accepted could be "junior sheriff" junior sheriff would have achievements for sheriffs to attempt and complete in order to go up to the next rank. (I.e. Hand cuff 30 people, turn in 70 illegal guns....you get the point) this would give sheriffs the motivation to play and not resign. There could be three levels just like staff with each level being a little bit harder. Input anyone?

    Maybe instead of "junior sheriff" or anything else it could be deputy then colonel and then finally sheriff, just to make it more realistic.

    I like the idea, I'd like to have it in the /skill like another skill to be the replace of harvest and process drug skill since we can't do that. That's wht I'm stuck in 1 lvl :stuck_out_tongue:.
    I'd say: Senior>Sheriff>Deputy.

    Maybe their could be only 1 person to have the highest rank so the sheriffs could be competitive within each other. Thoughts?

    Maybe have it so the sheriff with the highest amount of illegal item captures have it or something along those lines.

    Is there a reason it shouldn't? Bandits have drug processing + harvesting, two skills sheriffs can't do.
    As UnknownPleasures said ^. Why shouldn't sheriffs get a skill exclusive to being sheriff when Bandits get 2 skills exclusive to bandit?

    I agree it would make it harder to level global skill level, but its just a number at the start of your name, it doesn't matter too much since it doesn't affect actual processing times/harvest bonus etc.

    1. This would just matter to a few peeps so not worth doing.
    2. Sheriff skill should not be counted towards global skill level for bandits. Would be pretty stupid.

    I think this is a great idea. One, it will drive competition between Sheriffs. A lot of Sheriffs resign because it's "boring". This will eliminate the dull experiences Sheriffs are currently having and would give more "pizazz" to the sheriff rank.

    Interesting.

    Would there be an advantage to being a sheriff of higher ranking or is it merely for cosmetic purposes?
