Depends on what you want really:
    • Gaming Computer ?
    • Laptop / Desktop ?
    • "General Duties" Computer ?
If you are looking for a gaming computer, I would recommend AlienWare computers, however, they can be rather pricey depending on where you purchase them from.

Every company has their own price. Id say get a good person that knows some things about a PC. And let him build it. I built one with the help of a mechanic. A PC mechanic that is. And thisd PC cost only 300$ With the whole monitor thats 23 inches and a GTX 650 thats giving me alot of fps

If you want a Gaming Laptop, than first of all check what you want, maybe browse the internet and check what Video Card vould you like also you should know what is RAM and what Processor is good for you. If you are a serious gamer like me that upgrades hes PC/Laptop every year. Id say if you need a laptop, you have to know what you want from it

And if your a millionaire, you can choose Alienware...

I had an Alienware before my Mac Pro - I never liked the Alienware as it was ridiculously bad compared to what you expect of them.

If you plan on buying a computer for gaming, you might want to build it. Building is cheaper but it's more time consuming.

Yup, I'm building a beast for $1200 (USD), which should be epic... Go to computerpartpicker.com (or something close to that) And you can build it online

    I have this.
    http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y-series/y580/index.html
(Yes, it's a laptop. I need a decent computer to bring to my friends houses. Lugging a desktop around isn't worth it.)

    i7-3630QM @ 2.4 GHz (OC'd to 3.2)
    GTX660M (2GB VRAM)
    8GB RAM

    Cost around $900 on sale.
Currently sold out, but I think you can find one similar to it.

And yes, I do build my own computers.
My last build was like, 6 years ago, though.
It was like, God, a GTS 250 and an Intel Duocore @ 3.0 GHz.

Probably gonna build one this Summer. Gonna go all out. :V
i7-4960X @ 3.6 GHz with OC to at least 4.2.
    NVIDIA Titan x2 (SLI, durr.)
    16GB RAM
    256GB SSD
    3 linked 120Hz (Maybe 144) Monitors
Don't worry my family's combined yearly income is over $300,000 USD.
The average family makes around $50,000.
    I'm not poor.

The site jakob's talking about is:
    http://pcpartpicker.com/

    /r/buildapc is helpful, too.

Build your own, and trust me, don't get a laptop. If you're serious about gaming you NEED a desktop. Laptops just don't have the strength to run BF4 on ultra at 60 FPS like my build can, and mine isn't even that powerful compared to some. Minimum 8GB of ram, you want a processor with at LEAST 3.0GHz. AMD has good gaming video cards for lower prices.

Check this out. A nice medium-high tier gaming PC part combo New Egg threw together.

Picking a mouse is easy, just find one your budget that looks cool. Because the cooler it looks the better it works V:
If you wanna be uber hardcore and spend like $150 on a mouse,
    [IMG]

Personally I'd just use logitech, because they are cheap and relatively good for the price.

I think this is about $50 USD, Logitech G300. 2500 Dpi, 250 temporary downshift. 9 programable buttons and you can change the colour of the LED's :3
