    @sjuka_legogubbar and @BlackD1amond are supporting these changes.

    PISTOLS
    • Executioner
    • Range increased from 20 to 30
    • Damage increased from 14x5(70) to 17x5(85)
    COMMENT: Executioner is nowhere near as strong as Deagle or Python, despite being a prestige level weapon. This small change should allow for it to compete with other pistols and justify it being a prestige weapon.


    • Python
    • Fire rate reduced from 200RPM to 180RPM
    COMMENT: Python has been a favorite among prestige players and while it has been a dominant weapon, a change of fire rate would make it more necessary to land shots more accurately. This is a minor change.



    SNIPER RIFLES
    • MSR
    • Ammo increased from 32 (6+26) to 64 (6+58)
    • Damage increased from 72 to 75
    • Fire rate increased from 150RPM to 160RPM
    COMMENT: MSR, despite being a strong sniper, is frequently neglected due to there being better options at other levels and due to lack of ammunition. The increase in bullets should allow for it to compete with other sniper rifles, while the increase in damage would solidify it's power. A boosted fire rate will grant it more even ability to compete with it's lower and higher level counterparts.


    • L120 Isolator
    • Damage reduced from 107 to 100 on headshot and upper body shot, 85 on lower body shot (legs and lower)
    COMMENT: Isolator has long been a very controversial weapon, with people defending as well as criticizing it's strength. These changes mean that players who can hit upper body or land a headshot still has a good chance of 1-shotting a person, while reduced damage on legs/lower body will mean that players have to aim more accurately.



    SMGs
    • Mac-10
    • Damage increased from 14 to 20
    • Reload time reduced from 3.5 seconds to 2.5 seconds
    COMMENT: These changes should make Mac-10 a more viable weapon to use, especially when compared to better alternatives at the same or higher level. This weapon was simply weak.


    • MP7
    • Damage increased from 18 to 25
    • Range reduced from 74M to 70M
    • CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE - IGNORES ARMOR
    COMMENT: MP7 has been struggling similarly to other weapons of SMG class. An adjustment of damage should make it more appealing to use in trade for minimal changes to its effective range. Along with that, the new ability to ignore armor would allow for it to be used effectively against armored players.


    • UMP45
    • Damage increased from 22 to 30
    • Range increased from 70 to 80
    • Reload time reduced from 4 seconds to 3.5 seconds
    COMMENT: UMP45 was very unneapealing to use in comparison to other automatic weapons due to it's average damage and lack of a punch. These changes should solidify it's place as the most powerful SMG (damage-wise) and give it more viability in combat.


    • P90
    • Damage increased from 18 to 25
    • Magazine size increased from 40(+24) to 50(+14)
    • Range reduced from 76M to 50M
    • Reload time increased from 3.5 seconds to 4 seconds
    COMMENT: P90, although somewhat powerful, has been struggling ever since it's post-release nerf. These changes should make it more fun to use as well as make it require more careful use due to reduced range and longer reload time.


    • PP90-M1
    • Aimed accuracy changed to 0.3 (was 1.0)
    • Damage changed from 14 to 20
    • Range from 70M to 50M
    COMMENT: Despite it's features, PP90-M1 was mostly a struggling weapon with no viability to it. These new changes should make it much more accurate and more lethal to use at a significant cost of range.



    MISC
    • Superknife
    • Now gives a small speed boost when active

    I agree to almost every single one :wink: maybe leave the python, but definitely iso.

    As a huge war skrub, game changing edits are big, and there are some weapons that need buffs, and some need nerfs.
    Perhaps staff could make the nerfs specifically to @PoixMine because he's to gg.

    I'm all for a iso debuff. Also unlike all you people, I think p90 is actually really good (weird huh)

    Also I'm with GetShadowRealmed, p90 is already fairly decent and I use it from time to time as it is.

    I agree with pretty much everything but the iso nerf. Getting the Iso was one of the big incentives for me when playing 1.0.

    I think the MP7 should have 40 ammo per clip like in CoD

    The damage in CoD for smgs are very good

    Can you explain why Isolator shouldn't be nerfed? People will still want to get it because it's going to have higher damage than other snipers - the only difference is that it will require more skill to get kills. And Disasembler should be the best sniper in the game and the real incentive to prestige.

    SMGs in Call of Duty have different fire rates. In Mc-War, there is a set limit on ticks and fire rate, therefore all SMGs fire at the same speed (600RPM). This means that damage and other stats need to be different.

    MP7's 40-round clip could mess with balancing, all of the SMGs are struggling with use (many maps don't favor them and the other automatic weapons are more effective now).

    I have suggested nerfs for crossbow and people seem to get very defensive about it. As far as skullcrusher goes, which aspects of it are worth nerfing?

    1. Crossbow is much more powerful than any of the weapons in this thread that are recieiving suggested nerfs.
    2. Skully is just as powerful, if not more powerful compared to the iso. I suggest some sort of ammo nerf where you would need to reload more, along with a reload time expansion. With these two nerfs, I feel that the easy nuke you can get with skully on many maps such as plaza would be nullified, while 1v1 dueling while moving with skully will not be affected.

    I do have a problem with all of these nerfs, though.
    Although I see them as a handy dandy way to fix a problem, nerfs can really kill a game.
    Look at Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
    It was extremely antagonizing to play, it was slow. There was basically a easy win character similar to the crossbow. A mod came out for it that had almost every character recieve buffs to the point to where the game was playable and high speed because of all of the jank stuff you could do.
    If anything I want from War 2.0 it's a large array of good guns that can fill different roles.

    1. I'm going to look into what can be done about this and edit the OP.
    2. Hmm, I can see the point. I'll see what I can do about it.

    To address further concerns, only 2 weapons are being completely nerfed in the OP, the rest of are getting buffed so that they can become viable and competitive with other weapons, some with a few changes to balance it out.

    cbow definitely needs to be nerfed, not hugely but make it so people on the spawn block are invincible, not only will this stop people spamming cbow it will stop people spamming ray at afk zombies.

    Executioner is the best pistol and needs no buffs (Totally a fact and not an opinion at all, nope)

    I do not understand the value of this once war 2.0 is out. Otherwise, I think it would be a good idea, but it would take a lot of work.

    For all we know, War 2.0 might get cancelled. This is needed for the legacy servers (if you want to have a decent playerbase there). Putty himself said he could do the gun balancing. Hell, I can do it with PvPGunsplus

    I think that the likelyhood of that happening is slim. All of the devs are working on war 2.0 so why would you try to change the legacy when legacy itself could be deleted?
