Discussion: Regarding TPing in general

Alright, we've all experienced this.

You tp, and some zombie or random whitename comes and whacks your fine ass, and you have to wait a whole timer again.

My fix to this problem is making it so when you are hit while in the 7 seconds it takes to tp, you are given half of the tp time you have as of tping instead of the full timer. This way, people couldn't spam tp (unless you're an ELITE, but they're pretty OP anyway) during fights but the frustration of being hit while tp is nulled.

Additionally, I believe that tping to a person who doesn't exist should not count as a regular tp, as often times players will either mistype a player's name or tp to an already logged out player.

Yes.

 

Of course it's ok, but it's also extremely annoying and frustrating for people who have long tp timers.

WarZ is no longer about spawn-spawn combat as everyone knows, and so additions like these should be added to promote teams fighting in z6 areas.

 

I don't see why an RNG spawn value should be a strategy of the game. I understand where everyone is coming from, but it doesn't change the fact that the "strategy" is quite silly.

What if someone shifts around a corner at noobtown?

Too many random occurances can happen to make this a strategy, let alone fun.
