Weather and redstone in game + Landmines

    In maps of mc-war, we should be able to have weather, specific time and redstone. I believe that this will enhance the maps, but then we would also need a safe command block plugin.
    Also I think we should add Landmines as a donor item. It would be a 5$ Lethal/Tactical item. The actually block would be a pressure plate. When they're placed, you will get a nametag. If you right click with the nametag in hand the landmine will detonate. To prevent glitching the landmines don't explode when you die in infect

    Some of this has been suggested before, but regardless weather would be an interesting aesthetic to some maps. :smile:

    Mines have been suggested so many times before, but the weather thing would be nice! I still dont know why plaza is day time.

    Name tags are used in the next update for Mc-Warfare I the game mode 'Kill Confirmed.' This would cause problems with the re texturing of name tags. Possibly another item could be used as a detonator?

    Landmine sounds EXACTLY like c4, other than the fact it auto detonates

    I suggested time, weather was suggested, but red stone? I don't think land mines are good. They are only ground C4, which C4 already does.

    Redstone clocks = Major Server Lag.

    Unless its something like a day to night changer only when you enter certain chunks

    Weather is definitely a great idea but redstone causes lots of lag (both client and latency) as @gotsteve stated.
