I think thier should be a full elo reset not a /eloreset because this will be abused too much and wont show good players from bad players

 

Sounds to me like a command like this would be used to just reset your elo if you got below the default.

 

Exactly too many people would abuse this command there for it is not a great idea im my opinion.

 

Just one thing... Elo doesn't show if a player is good or bad. Gaining Elo can easily be done if you go along with a team and get a full d kill whilst being leather/iron. Also, the amount of elo you gain/loose from kills/deaths is extremely unbalanced. I've seen many players with around 115 elo loos a whooping 2-4 elo from dying in diamond once to players with over 115 elo.

Not so sure we actually need a command enabling players to reset their elos, however, on the topic of WarZ elo I do believe it is an under-utilised feature in WarZ! we've already had some interesting suggestions on the community questionnaire so if you can think of any other ways you think elo could be used in-game, let me know on that thread!

 

I think we just need a general elo reset. Some of the players on the elo leaderboard are duplicated and banned Alts. Plus it's not hard to reset elo from a developers perspective. I disagree with the elo reset command though, as players can abuse this once they drop below default elo.

 

No. This could be used with an abusive way since players with a lower than default ELO can reset it to default which is higher.

Lower ELO < Default ELO

Additionally if you get bullied for that just chatreport the player insulting you or if it's in real life talk to an older person you trust to take care of the situation.
