Kit Brawl Tourney Proposition​

In the past few weeks, Brawl has been going through a lot. Like the CTF MSW Tourney, Raid Competition for Lifetime Elite, many other events also for other game modes. I am here to give you my idea to make an event for Kit Brawl!

My Plan​

I was talking with @GetShadowRealmed about this, and I was planning on making a team tourney. I mentioned either 2v2 or 3v3. Whether this was going to be NoDebuff, or Gapple was undecided. Another possibility is, it being Soup, but I don’t think this would be a good idea since people would drop faster than NoDebuff or Gapple due to the lack of soups. But, there is a way to make it so you have the option to make more Soup with the Mushrooms and bowls! Either way, I personally, think the NoDebuff/Gapple would be more entertaining to watch. And since there is a lot of people that play Kit Brawl, if this tourney happens, it will have to be first come first serve basis. Another concerning factor is monitoring the fights, but I’m sure there would be other mods who would like to participate in keeping an eye out and being a ref for the match. Since there is a lack of mods for Kit Brawl, this will be open to mods who want the chance to moderate this! We could make this a group stage thing, or a straight to the go KNOCK OUT matches. This is still a work in progress. Also, I would like to make it so that anyone can spec these matches. Since for right now, only donators are allowed to spec, during the tourney matches, anyone who logs in, and /spectate’s whatever match you want to spec. But ONLY TOURNEY MATCHES, so it won’t interfere with the current system that Brawl has spectating Kit Brawl matches. This is open to anyone who creates a team, but for the meantime, I will continue to figure out the sizes of the teams, the mode it will be played in, and requirements. We wanna keep our matches as clean as possible, so bad sportsmanship will result in a punishment that can result to being disqualified. Also, if you have a perm-banned player on your team, you and the player will have to face some type of punishment. Rules will be set up as the planning stage goes, hopefully this comes soon! I am tired of seeing all these events, our community deserves one too! Also, I believe this would attract more players to Kit Brawl, expanding it’s player base. Another thing, I will go around asking if teams can vote on the map they desire to play in! Because, I know there are maps on Kit Brawl, I personally hate playing. As for prizes for first place winners, It is undecided yet if there will, or will not be any prizes. It is up to my higher ups. For the mean time, this is what I have to present for you guys. I will be constantly keeping an eye for what the moderators have to say, and I will be making a final thread as soon as I have everything ready to be set up. Happy Pvping my good fellow friends.
