Kda is kill/death ratio. And technically you could. We just choose to instead look at it in terms of percentages.

 

You can't have a negative KDR because you can't have negative deaths/ kills.
KDR is calculated by Kills / deaths, so the only way to have a negative KDR is by having negative deaths, eg
If someone has 100 kills and 10 deaths there KDR would be 10
If they had 10 kills and 100 deaths there KDR would be 0.1, which isn't a negative, but if negative deaths/ kills were possible you would have something like this
-10 kills / 100 deaths is a -0.1 KDR (which isn't possible)
KDR isn't a percentage, it's a ratio.
