We need skywars back.

+9, the hype for skywars was extreme, the only thing that made it go away was the bugs, which was us staff's fault. I believe it should come back and better than ever. It was a big player gain around that time, and after it closed down, players stopped playing

 

I loved skywars, we've been waiting for the relaunch of "skywars 2.0" for over a rear now, and I haven't heard anything about it. I just wish that the old skywars would come back out while we waited for the 2.0 version to be relaunched.

 

Tbh I would love to have skywars back. It also is at a high player demand due to all the Youtubers doing "I am..." challenges.

 

I always have to go on another network to play skywars . I am sure players would play it.

 

Skywars 2.0 was buggy and wasn't popular so it got removed, I think it'd be good to add the original skywars back though as skywars is possibly the most popular gamemode in Minecraft at the moment.

 

We quit skywars because it lost its playerbase. Although I realise that a lot of people enjoyes the game, I do not have confidence in the fact that it's coming back.

As a staff member, I am usually allowed to test unreleased gamemodes or other new features. Our developers are too busy and skywars isn't our #1 priority.

So I appreciate the fact that you want it back, but I just don't think it's going to happen.

 

I would love to have Skywars back, just the original Skywars. I really didn't like 2.0 :v

The skywars community was rich, when I was staff for skywars there was always players online. When the skywars 2.0 came out, the community from skywars transferred to the new version. Naturally, the player base from skywars started leaving, because of unfixed bugs. If we re-release the old skywars, I believe that the community would be restored to its original amount.
Also, why would we want anyone to go to another server? Wouldn't you want people to stay on Brawl? That just doesn't make sense to me... Along with War 2.0, I believe Totom is in charge of that. While Nom was responsible for skywars.

 

I feel like they would need to bring FpsHG or SG back before SkyWars. I believe that they were more popular. I don't know the statistics behind it however.

 

FpsHG and SG were both buggy which is why they were removed, skywars 2.0 was buggy which was why it was removed, however if brawl has the old skywars code, they can just use that rather than remaking the sg/FpsHG code.

 

SG wasn't always buggy. During its early days, it was actually fine. As for FpsHG, as far as I can remember it was slightly buggy, but it could've been fixed. I was away for a long while at some point, so I don't know how the servers final days were. Bugs can be fixed. I think the real reason behind the removal of SG, FpsHG and SkyWars is because Brawl didn't have the resources to fix them. There was a lot of pressure on the coders for War 2.0, fixing a truck load of WarZ bugs and other general bugs. I guess the easiest solution for them was to remove the three servers, at least for now.
SkyWars and SG can pretty much be found on most other popular servers. I feel like their next focus should be on finding out if they could bring back FpsHG. That was a rather unique server and it was always full of players.
