Idea KOTH

    Just a few ideas for KOTH changes. 1. KOTH spot should be a good 2 or 3 minute run from spawn so it takes the team longer if they die to come back and continue fighting. 2. It shouldnt be 10 minutes to cap because that is just brutal. 3. There should be no building or placing lava on or around the KOTH arena. Lava and obsidian little houses arent really that fair. Just a couple thoughts :smile: Im loving KOTH anyway just think at least you should consider changing the capture time to less than 10 minutes and maybe a wider capture area. :smile:

    Prices are good at koth rn but i really like that idea that there should be 2-4min run to the koth. And cap time should be 5 minutes instead 10.

    Cap time is being discussed, loot is being discussed. I'll bring up the idea about the 2-4 min run tho, but someone could just set a warp there so it doesn't really matter

    i guess u guys can change it likeeee... idk u cant set warp near koth. And it does not rly matter is it 5 or 10 min u get knocked out from the koth sooo easily i hope u guys will make it harder to knock people off the koth

    What do you suggest? An idea is to disable knockback and punch enchants in koths, do you guys have any ideas?

    Ummm maybe secure the koth better so u wont get knocked that easily

    Not sure what the purpose of the screenshots are - I know what I said. I talked to Mario 2 weeks ago about disabling KB and punch enchants in the KOTH area. Not possible unless it's done in a very unstable/hacky way (likely caused a lot of glitches and problems). I have already been experiment with new KOTH designs, but I'd like to see another KOTH with a shorter time before we start chsnging things like that. KOTH timer for next KOTH will be shorter.

    Ok, in your screenshots you say KB2 and punch should be disabled - my previous post states that I asked Mario about it and he said it wasn't possible. Saying nothing was done about it is inaccurate. There is a difference between no changes being made, and nothing being done about it.

    So stuff was done about it when you said nothing would be changed until a few koths had taken place? Oh in that case I'm sorry, you had listened to the community and tried to prevent the issue thanks :smile:
