I completely agree and when I get mod again I'm coming back to rate this mod honor, but please accept winner for now. Peas is a great guy and yes I was upset and frustrated, but never did I ever go public and full on slander him. To me, that is very rude but to each his own. Personally I like to keep these things between a couple people instead of full on witch hunting. What I failed to see until after I resigned, is that "hey. At least party is being looked at now." When I was mod, no matter what I did, party wasn't even turned to. With peas, I'm seeing discussions and changes and party has a voice now. I'm actually very thankful for that. Do I still want change in the staff system? Yes of course. But does change = skapegoating? Nope. We are all at fault here. As a community member now, I see what happens from your perspective and I'm speaking up about them. I didnt really see this when I was staff. I don't know if that's because I didn't look in the right places or not, but that's my observations. Peas is doing his very best here and I don't know a single staff member who would've turned down smod (except nohox, but he hasn't been asked to accept it since, so there's that. Rip). Basically, we all played a part here. I could've spoken up more, Pease could've denied, cuddled could've chosen someone else, mario could've communicated more, Oracle could've taken a step back, socool could've reapplied, player123 could've written a report aboUT what staff needs to work on, etc, etc. I can't hate anyone, especially the staff team, because to me they are family. Yea, we argue and bicker and laugh at each other's mistakes and all complain to momma cuddled and daddy yinskape (staff joke. Ignore it.) But at the end of the day, we all love each other. I'm thankful for peas now. He's a good guy and I'll be honored to work with him because he's really good at getting things done (something I was apparently **** at xD). This is my two cents. I love you all as well, so if you ever have something that's troubling you, please please please come talk to me. It helps to talk to someone and I'm a pretty good listener ok? Plus I have the experience of having been both staff and normal, unranked player now. Fact of the matter is, look inside yourself to realize how other people are feeling.

 

Eh I'm standing by most of my points still tbh. I just found a lot of what peas to be said either fake, or he completely changed what he was saying depending on the person he was talking to. To that, I will not stand for, but yeah I won't flame anymore. He does work, but somethings imo weren't done ethically or "right" personally. But people can say the same about me, which is fair.

Completely agree with you Lava. Give him a chance. I think we should blame who promoted him, but I still think it wasn't the wrong decision. I think the manager system is a joke but that's beside the point. Snax and feather both should be smods for their hard work and contribution, as well as peas.

GreenPeas has been around forever, is active, is a former administrator, and has good business sense. We can talk all day about whether @_featherpaw_ "deserved" Party S-MOD more than him and whether or not "favoritism" was involved in that choice (etc. etc.) but that's beside the point. The point being that when Wario resigned and WarZ suddenly didn't have an S-MOD anymore it was more prudent to choose the person with management experience (on Brawl) to fulfill that role than the person who didn't.

There's nothing wrong with promoting experienced, competent former administrators (or other high level staff) to high level positions if they choose to come back. Sure someone's going to wonder "why them and not me?" and get salty over it but it's a smart thing to do. @randomcitizen1 hadn't been staff for months before he was handpicked for the staff team about six months back and was (relatively) quickly promoted to Wild West S-MOD. Considering all the stuff he's been trying to do (both in community activism and in game changes) no one can say that decision was a bad choice.

When someone Promoted to SMOD or above and less, That's not says you need to speach him how he got the Rank for free, its honestly right, @SweetLava

 

@SweetLava I know its been said by a few above, but.. PREACH! Think of the situation if you were in greanpeas' position. If Putty told you you were getting promoted to SMOD and to manage two of the servers, would you simply say "No thanks, I'd rather stay mod" or would you accept the promotion with honor?

GreenPeas totally deserves smod but the thing is the way he got it, I think Itd be ok if feather and sn4x5 got it at the same time but it's still quite unfair. This has happened with other staff too and I just think it's unfair.

 

Unfair or not, it happened. And nothing any of us do will change that, no matter how much some of us wish. Don't blame the people, blame the system.
