Magma + Fireman

    These 2 kits are very similar. Both have passive fire resistance, but Magma actually has complete lava resistance (which is pretty OP initself, but it's balanced because you can't really team with Magma).
    So why not combine Magma and Fireman?
    Say give Magma the water bucket (and it can only be used as a water bucket), and take the fire res both kits have. BUT you take damage in lava (is it 10 seconds?), but then only half the damage you'd normally take from it.
    Thoughts?

    I like this, but I feel like magma is meant to be more like viper and fireman is meant to be more passive around the environment, meaning I feel like it should be the other way around, fireman takes less lava damage while magma takes more, but less than usual.

    Thoughts?

    The point was to stick the kits together. Plus, Fireman takes full lava damage after his invincibility is over

    I think it is great as it is now tbh. Magma is great and I have no idea about fireman since I do not own that kit. But changing anything with magma is a bad idea imo.

    Problem with merging kits is that one of them will have to be removed. So, what do we do to the players who already own the kit? Brawl's not able to just give refunds, considering 99.9%+ of the HGers who've ever played HG don't play anymore. If it wasn't for this issue I'd want all the kits scrapped and remade :stuck_out_tongue:

    Isn't there a list on who owns what kits? You could just give the merged kit to all of the people who owned the previous kit.
    Also, this seems like more of a nerf to me than a buff. Why don't we just give fireman permeant fire/lava resistance and a lava and water bucket?

    Hi my name is Admiral and this is the first time I've looked at this section in... 7 months? Good stuff.

    That said,

    I like the idea. But why give Magma the water bucket? Magma - water bucket, I don't know it doesn't seem to jive with the idea of the kit very well. It does, however fit better with Fireman. So instead of removing Fireman, why not buff it with half the lava resistance from Magma (while removing Magma)? /shrug That just makes more sense to me.

    The thing is, Magma is a fantastic kit. It really should stay, but yeah maybe remove the water bucket from Magma and give it to Jellyfish! I think that would make a bit more sense in my view.

    Does it make a difference if you're combining it with Fireman? Wouldn't that make (for example) Fireman an even better kit than it currently is?

    So remove Fireman?

    Honestly, yes. Fireman is an OK kit, but Magma is just objectively better, no question about it.

    If I understoo your Google Translate grammar correctly, why would you want to add Jump Boost to Magma of all kits?

    I think you may want to look at what Magma does. Kangaroo might be a kit for jump boost, but not Magma.
