Add prot 1?

Interesting idea, but sheriffs only have unbreaking on their regular armor. They can buy kevlar, which does have protection, but this costs money and buying kevlar just to go into a 7v1 and lose the money you just spent doesn't make a lot of sense. I also don't see the point in adding protection to gold armor, as it would just make sense to upgrade to diamond anyways. This would be a cool idea for something like voting though. Though maybe adding it so players could choose what armor to enchant with prot 1. +0

 

Gold is underused just for the simple reason of diamond armor is better. I don't think adding prot 1 to gold armor will make it better than diamond, and if they did change gold armor to prot 1, it would be harder to get than just killing indians, or skeletons.

 

The adding of prot would just make it worse for sheriffs lol

 

@Chilled_67 Sheriff armor has prot 1 and kevlar prot 3

 

I think we should give bandits cuffs as well. Wouldnt that be fair.

 

Obviously I know a lot about sheriff armor...

 

Lets cuff all cuffers all the time and piss them off like they do to us

 

I think it is nice to add it, but it is not my choice .

 

Make a little "Illegal Blacksmith" NPC at rebel bases that allow you to enchant gold.

This is because the reason sheriffs get prot is because their armor is supposed to equal, (Or surpass if they buy kev) in the amount of damage absorbed. The reason its iron, and not diamond is you recognize a sheriff as a sheriff, and making sheriff armor possible in the default texture pack
