New idea.

Well, what would be the name? MC-CTF is already taken. What would make it significant, would it have some classes? Or would it be just swords and bows with a twist? Be more specific.

That would be awesome.

 

Sadly, there is already a TF2 server, but it sucks, guns are bows, and nothing is retextured. We could make one 10x better.

 

This would be an awesome thing to implement.

 

Dedicated gamemode servers have been suggested before, and like before have been denied.

 

I think a TF2 server would be amazing though. As what blocks said, there is a TF2 server but it is only bows and swords. I mean, we have the guns, all we have to do is change some things around, make some classes, make a few maps, and there we go.

 

I can think of some ways to orchestrate this. We'd probably have to hire some other coder though cause Orange is lazy.

And how would this be all that different than mc-war? It's the same idea. You kill people... with guns. Although I guess the classes would make it more interesting, especially if we made it so you can buy better classes with credits.

 

Well, try CoD and try TF2. I think they are pretty different...

 

Well... we do play on TF2 maps and use guns that would be very similar to mc-war guns.
Ok, I see your point. If TF2 guns were coded and textured, then this could end up being very successful.

 

Eh, I don't think this is needed because we already have a ctf gamemode in mc-war.

 

Kind of what I was thinking but there isn't a good TF2 server with guns so I think it would be popular.

 

TF2 isn't just ctf. Actually, capture the flag is the only game mode in mcwar that is also in tf2 (domination will be similar to control points when the mcwar update comes out though).
