A anti-virus system for brawl?

VPNs do way more harm than good.

 

I understand that warz is a big reason with vpns. Just saying some players (who don't alt) use them for various reasons

 

If you read my thread on VPNs, you'll realize they aren't useful on brawl whatsoever.

 

I mean you could just whitelist certain staff VPN's and trusted player VPN's if they want to use them that bad...

 

Are you all ****ing retarted? Ddosing happens so much. People use vpns to protect their ip addresses. I know people alt but still which would u rather have no internet or people alting. An anti vpn system would defiantly harm brawl more then help. If You're an old player then u know how it use to be when there couldn't be one big fight without several people being ddosed.

yes they are, clearly... i get 320 ping without WTFast, but with it i get 190, there really isn't anything else to say.

that's not how it works buddy, i have been on brawl for 3 years or more and discovered Wtfast about a year and a half ago, if i don't have it i can't play and that's pretty unfair for me.

 

1. Skype resolving doesn't work, so your ip won't constantly be grabbed
2. Reset your router after getting ip-logged, or contact your provider to get it changed.

If you do these things there is no purpose or use for VPNs, unless it is WTFast.

This is a rather valid point, and unfortunately, I believe this is the reason why they should not be blocked.
It is rather unfair for players who have such poor ping, and need to utilize VPNs in order to make Brawl playable.

The only issue with this is that once you whitelist one person's VPN, you are almost obligated to do it for all people. It is unfair that someone who may use WTFast gets their VPN blocked simply because they are not a main and trusted player.

That is actually an invalid point. You can easily unblock specific VPNs like WTFast while still blocking every other vpn to make brawl playable.

 

But that defeats the whole purpose because WTFast is a VPN... which makes it so you can evade bans.

 

It would make it far more easy to monitor and link up accounts than it would with some private, paid VPN that we have no clue who hops on. Making an ip web with just one vpn would make it so much easier. Besides, if that's an issue just block wtfast then. I've used it and honestly it improves things minimally. Two of the players who use it team with Dean anyway.
