Petition to give Pyrotheum one last chance! :3

Hey guys! So recently there was a small misunderstanding with a fellow brawler; Pyrotheum. Our courageous, fantastic builder had been banned and demoted from the build team due to an abuse of power some time ago and had served his sentence well, thinking over his mistake and learning from it. A couple of days ago, he reapplied with the intent of helping brawl once more, and brought with him a new outlook. It was a breath of fresh air for many of us because he was a wonderful builder and friend of many. He was accepted by Rhoske and added to the build team once more, which was a time of celebration for all! However, there was a miscommunication and he was re-demoted, seemingly without warning. I think I can speak for all of us (especially those that originally gave him his +1 on his application) that Pyrotheum should be given that second chance. Brawl is a place of compassion and understanding. A place where people who've been banned (even permanently) can be forgiven and a place where staff members who've left us can be allowed to come back with open arms. This was all just a misunderstanding and if there is anyone here who believes in Pyrotheum, let your voice be heard! This will reach far across the network and maybe we can be the change we want to see.

 

Why are you taking that sitting down, Rhoske? Your decision matters. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing and standing up for what you believed to be the right decision. I know it's hard to do sometimes, trust me, but you're strong and this could make Brawl stronger as a whole.

 

That may be the case, but they gave you build manager for a reason. If you thought he was ready, why didn't they trust you on it? I'm not blaming anyone here because what's done is done. I just like to understand why things work. I realize it was a miscommunication, but (at least to me) it seems like they didn't trust you enough to make the right decision. Did they explain why they demoted him?

This happens a lot though. Even with you and your banning. Were all of those miscommunications too? I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong here, but this could've been avoided. and it isn't fair to get his hopes up, then crush them. He should've remained on the build team.

Fair enough. Dramatic? Nah. You should read my literature. I feel pretty strongly about this and so I made a thread. I didn't make it seem like he got a death sentence at all, in my opinion of course, and I'm sorry it came across like that to you. However, the forums are for suggesting ideas, proposals, changes, and also getting to know community members. All threads are welcome (we even have a section for negative posts and rants). I'd never throw shade at you ryan. You know that, but imagine how pyro feels. You think a sorry helps that? He left because he was so hurt. What happened to him is what happened to you when you banned someone and another staff member went behind you and unbanned them. You were pretty hurt by that too, and that's what I'm trying to stop people from feeling. I just don't want this to happen again to anyone else... you know how empathetic I am.

Hahaha yes. I've also been told it's annoying too. XD friends? You said you were a writer on your profile. I am too. Maybe we can exchange stories sometime.
