Focus Thread - Minor Update

    Now this isn't entirely related to the gameplan, but I still need input on something like this. If there was to be a minor update that took place some time before the potential update described in the gameplan thread, what should it include? I've been gathering everything anyone has ever wanted to see in a minor update for some time now. :v I'm not sure I even agree with some of the suggestions (or if they're even minor, lol), but to be unbiased and generate more input, I think that they need to be included here. Here is the list in no particular order.

    • Medicine Stacking
    • No Chat Cooldown
    • Buffed Indian Loot
    • Nerfed Indians
    • Reduced Mining Processing Time
    • Voting Rewards
    • Rare Loot Booster
    • Buffed Chest Loot
    • More Chests, especially in cartels and bases
    • Removed Crafting Tables from Bases
    • /kit daily, /kit weekly (Daily: Full Leather and Lemat + Blunder. Weekly: Full Gold and Carc + Volcanic + Blunder)
    • Reduced Conductor Robbing Bounty.
    • Reduced Time in between Robberies
    • Reduced Sheriff Kill Bounty
    • Cartel Rework
    • Changed Death Message Color
    • Buffed New Player Items
    • Respawnable Pony

    I think instead of nerfing Indians, we should buff them. Indians are easy to kill and don't provide a challenge or any skill. I think they should slightly increased armor, greater fire rate, and a longer API.

    I don't think that new players should spawn in the game with a infinitely respawnable horse. I think it should have 3 respawns. This is so that new players don't have to worry about losing their first horse quickly, and can learn the game without having to buy a new horse.

    The last thing, I know you had suggested this in gameplan thread, but I think if there was a minor update to occur, there should be a better tutorial. Though Wild West has been getting a larger player base again, there are still always people asking questions that could be easily answered through a 1-2 minute tutorial that they are forced to take when they first join the game. I think also having a better tutorial system would not only help with player retention, but it would just make a much everyone more smart about the game when they join.

    All other ideas I think are great and would love to see them implemented into Wild West.

    I'd say:
    -You can not not proccess while combat tagged.
    -Add the team cap, so people can start choosing who to team before the team base thing even if they can still crossteaming.
    -Reduce a biy the pots price.
    -Add axes or remove tree farming and add Ranchs or something animal related like skin merchandise.
    -Better start tutorial.
    -Add the handcuff idea of waiting 3 secs before get completely cuffed. 3 secs might change.

    There is also not too much new for sheriffs, so:
    -Add the illegal man in the sheriff hq where you could sell full d.
    -Daily kits for sheriff (maybe molotovs).

    About the thread:
    -Maybe in the daily/week kit you remove the pistols and add pots instead.
    -Maybe a way to 'upgrade' your pony to the other cheapers horses.

    Rifles are axes and those are used on trees, and sheriffs don't really need kits as they get gear everytime they respawn. The idea of sheriffs getting molotovs included when they respawn has been shut down already by the community.

    So sheriff getting 2 molotovs per day (that you can find in chests) is so dangerous? I didn't say they should spawn with them, but they could get 1 or 2 per day.
    I think the diamond axe is free, but not sure. If it is not free, I'm suggesting to move the guns to other stuff and add axes, that's why it's called an update m8. Also I suggested a kit that I think is better for bandits adding pots that are more $$ than molotovs.

    What sheriffs should really get is a lasso, and lassos shouldn't last only one time.

    • Nerfed Indians - Now hold up. The indians randomly spawn with certain gear types and are just fine how they are now. Generally get one shot anyways. +0
    • Reduced Mining Processing Time - +1, make mining a path to cash.
    • Voting Rewards - Already planned?
    • Rare Loot Booster - +1
    • Buffed Chest Loot - Absolutely, but I still think the game should keep its economy aspect. We don't want this to turn into a gamemode where you run around opening chests to get gear.
    • More Chests, especially in cartels and bases - YES
    • Removed Crafting Tables from Bases - Now where did I see this earlier today? >:V +100

    • Changed Death Message Color - Brought this up with you a while ago, major +1. Maybe give red a try?
    • Buffed New Player Items - Yes, amazing +1. Maybe make a pistol specific to only fresh spawns, without ammo thought?
    • Respawnable Pony - Absolutely

    It's not like players would be focused on processing anyways when they have adversaries bearing down on them anyways. What point would this serve?

    Adding on to this, a list of my small other personal suggestions.

    1. Increase amount processed per filling of the bar from 1-4, remove buffed processing speed given by ranks. Processing booster will still boost speed processed per second. (If you were to process one piece of drug now, that would turn into four. Four pieces are taken out of your unprocessed, and four processed delivered.)
    2. Increase amount harvested from 1-4 (One break/hit delivers 4 unprocessed ore/drug.
    3. Decrease time taken to escape jail.
    4. Decrease house rent prices.
    5. Decrease Speed/Storage horse costs, remove tank (useless)

    A stripclub in wg base, i know Pyro is great at building clubs oh hey you guys forgot to give him builder hey let's give hin builder yeah i thought so


    But seriously, I would like to see an illegal activity known as bounty hunting. People put bounty on other ppls heads and someone goes and accepts the job and has a HUNT tag next to them. They are kos for sheriffs and if caught or killed get an instant 10k bounty for being a bounty hunter

    The point is, if you're fighting closer to the NPC Drug Proccessor (or maybe any npc) you could not open the proccess menu so this'd not be a problem while fighting.

    • No Chat Cooldown- Thank god. It's so dumb atm. When explaining things to newer players, the cooldkwn is irritating for both players, as lots of times you have to pause mid sentence and continue in a new chat message because of the chat character limit. This will be useful. +1
    • Buffed Indian Loot- Will make Indians more worth the time of raiding. +1
    • Nerfed Indians Would be too easy for experienced players but would help noons. +1
    • Reduced Mining Processing Time- This makes mining worth it. +1
    • Voting Rewards- Helps Brawl get votes and makes it easier to get gear. +1
    • Rare Loot Booster- Why not? +1
    • Buffed Chest Loot- Yes, most times all there is is stuff in them you don't want. +1
    • More Chests, especially in cartels and bases- If you're going to have a Rare Loot booster, you need there to be enough chests to make it worth it. +1
    • Removed Crafting Tables from Bases- They don't do anything but open wen your fighting, +1
    • /kit daily, /kit weekly (Daily: Full Leather and Lemat + Blunder. Weekly: Full Gold and Carc + Volcanic + Blunder) - This will help newer players. +1
    • Reduced Conductor Robbing Bounty- It'll make robbing not The dumbest possible thing to do, and help newer players not quit because they died after robbing all the conductors, or getting cuffed on the last one. +1
    • Reduced Time in between Robberies- It makes it so newer players can get money faster. +1
    • Reduced Sheriff Kill Bounty- Thank god. I'm done with dying with a 15k+ Bounty and wasting money on bails. +1000000
    • Cartel Rework- I don't really have an opinion on this. +0
    • Changed Death Message Color- I honestly think it's fine, but why not? +1
    • Buffed New Player Items- Yes. We need newer players to stay instead of the play, die a few times, apply for sheriff, get denied, and quit that I've seen lots do. +1
    • Respawnable Pony- Yes, one way newer players quit is because their horse dies and they think they have to walk everywhere not knowing you can buy one, or they can't afford them. +1

    With sheriffs being the pushovers they are, there needs to be a risk to killing sheriffs. Especially with their 5000G heads.
    If you want kill bounty reduced, the sheriff head value needs to be drastically reduced.

    Yes there should be a risk in attacking sheriffs, but the bounty being lowered would make of less risky because? You attacking a sheriff is still risky because they have gear equivalent to diamond and illegals. You don't need to get at least 3200 bounty every sheriff kill.

    Hang on. If you guys think killing a sheriff still gets you a 1,500 bounty, you'd be wrong. That was changed. It's the same with killing a bandit.

    One could say that there still needs to be benefit to killing sheriffs anyways, due to them only droping minor pocket change in gold, very little ammunition, no armor or guns, and most of the time no pots.

    If you're fighting, wouldn't you be more worried about the player attacking you than starting up processing again?

    He means when you right click to shoot you can't open the processor NPC and have it mess you up and possibly lead to you dying.
