Idea Archer Buff - Suggestion

Have you ever tried to actually play the Archer class? It's rare for a regular player with experience to play Archer, but I see various people who are newer to the Kit Brawl concept of pvp, try playing Archer. Most of the time, it results in a target. Now, getting shot by that bow is no joke. It actually deals a great amount of damage, but only if charged up fully. Before getting fully charged, the damage is 1-2 hearts. Enough of the damage part, I see people who play Archer that tend to get a little mad because they get targeted so much. So I have came up with two concepts that would be able to help out. One would be a defensive update/buff, and the alternative could be a damage update/buff. SO LETS GET TO IT!
Defensive Suggestion:
So, by defensive buff, I mean strengthening it's armor. Instead of a chain helmet and legs, you could have an Iron helmet with Iron legs. This would make it so that Archer can sustain more damage and have a larger chance of surviving. Also, this defensive buff would be able to help out the targeting and maybe decrease it a bit. Another idea would be to increase the speed effect from Speed I to Speed II to make its chances of being able to survive even bigger. The armor buff and speed buff would largely increase the survivability rate of the class and make it so that it is able to run. But, of course this would make the class a little too OP since it's strong bow and speed would make it so that it would be close to impossible to chase. So, if the Archer class goes with the defensive buff, it will need to sacrifice it's sword to be weaker or downgrade it's bow power.
DAMAGE SUGGESTION:
The damage buff would increase the bow power, or make it an Iron Sharp I. Or possibly a Sharpness 1 Diamond sword. This buff would make it so that the damage would be very great, leading to the Archer being able to cause more damage. But of course, the armor would have to be weakend with such a great buff. I would suggest bringing it down to leather armor, with that you can put the Resistance 3 or 2 effect. That would work because you could be able to make up for SOME of the armor taken off. Also, maybe enchant it with Projectile Protection to make it withstand other Archer's. Maybe Projectile Prot II or III. The enchants would make it stand out from other classes like that have leather armor.

You should express your idea's on this Archer buff! Also, mention any alternatives you think would be better. Criticism would be appreciated on how to make these idea's better!

Ya but you see, Archers die in seconds

Buffed so it could survive longer

 

Because it's a ranged class but have you been on Kit? and tried to play Archer? There isn't anything ranged when you die the second you get out of spawn. Archers barely make it to the towers

 

Because Melee can be boring at times so playing Archer is a very hard thing to do without proper aim :[ since you get targeted by MELEE'S!
