Brawl Then And Now

Not really worth my reply but I think Brawl it's self is getting better. There are people who make it not so enjoyable but anyways. I think some staff are working hard to make things better.

 

I myself joined in late January 2013 and I'd do anything to get the days of McWar having 12 servers with 70 players each back. It was sooooo much fun

I'd say Then is better, but Brawl has always been good. I miss the old times so much but you have to learn to move on.

 

I will answer this with the way I answered another thread about the fall of an old WW team and the rise of another one.

Wild West will still, never be the same. I've lived through lots of changes, and like everyone I would never want to change something that used to always be enjoyable for me. We always love stereotypes that we grow up with and we wouldn't change them with new ones. We still love what used to exist, what is now called old. We usually don't replace them with new ones when we found them enjoyable. My point is that new players won't ever replace my old beloved ones who left.

On the other hand, you never know what 'new' can bring. Maybe things get better, maybe worse but who knows. What's important is to never forget what you loved but don't ignore what's new for reasons I stated above.

My answer is hidden in there, you will eventually get it.

 

Yes, I do indeed miss creative, but I think I miss the creative community more ;(

Brawl had way more players back then. It was way more with a huge community

 

From the perspective of staff transparency and fulfilling their duties, I would say now is better. Not to say that past staff didn't as great of a job as the current staff members do, but in the aspect of understanding where Brawl stands in its development of new servers and updates, the staff team does a better job of informing the community. In terms of how much I enjoy the server compared to 2014 to 2017, it is hard to compare since I play a different server then than I do now. I think War was better with the higher player bases however. I hope 2.0 will bring some of that hype back. I see Brawl making a big comeback in the near future.

 

There's always the "good old times" that everyone thinks of (me too), because the feelings you had back then are different from now and so "mystical". But honestly, Brawl is sooooo much better now; staff were pretty much trash before compared to now, rules were not enforced well, gamemodes were not even close to how good they're now, etc. It's just that there's an innumerable amount of players less now than then, that grinds my gears.

I kinda miss Survival PvP. Raid, idk, just didn't attract me the way Survival PvP did. I joined Brawl somewhere around May 2015, a couple months before Ctf. I never really played and enjoyed Brawl games, but I DID like Survival PvP and CTF. I dunno why, the other gamemodes just don't reach me. I'd say I miss old Brawl, with Survival PvP, but hey, on the other hand, CTF came along and that's awesome! My vote goes out to Brawl now, because now Build's much better, Ctf is improving rapidly and Survival PvP got replaced with a game that's mostly the same, but improved. I never really knew about the staff back then, so I can't really judge that. The staff nowadays is awesome! Nice improvements, Brawl! Oh, and I really like the new fist logo!

P.S. Yes I know Ctf used to be on McPvP, but I first saw it on Brawl.

 

What is this post, obviously then when on warz, the fights were huge, the teams were not as huge, and the community was huge. Ffs they had to delete servers due to not enough people on

 

It was better back in the days, because there were more people. But that's it. As many people mentioned above, the current system is the best we have had. The staff team is as efficient as never before, the communication with the community as well and the overall experience of Brawl & the staff team is unbelieveable big. But that doesn't change anything - we need players who play.

I miss the full war servers, yes.

No, I have never cared about Creative. We don't really need it, Build is absolutely fine.

The amount sucks. :/

Can you explain worse? Maybe back up your opinion and inform us to why that is in your opinion. Also, leave out the player count, since thats the major argument people use. Explain another reason why it got worse.

 

I believe that Brawl has gone down hill over the years, and for many reasons. I think that Brawl was better in the past. Mainly due to the player count, however, this was destined to happen. When Brawl was first gaining popularity McWar was a brand new and exciting game mode. There weren't any guns in Minecraft up until this point except in some premature and poorly designed mods. I just think that there were and are many things that made and make Brawl great. I just feel as though I had the most enjoyable time playing back when Brawl was more populated.

 

Why have all these people left? What happened to this server?

 

People started getting life's, got bored of Brawl, got banned, etc. There are various factors to this, but of course you can always bring people back with new things. War 2.0 is supposed to be a pretty big thing once it's released. I think its like 90-95% done, so soon. Also H1Z1 is a confirmed new gamemode I believe? Idk about that so don't quote me on that. But anyways, Brawl is growing now from how low it was. Hopefully in the next few month's, we'll be gaining more players. A YouTuber with almost a mil subscribers on his main account was playing party the other day. Tbh, it did get worse but Brawl is getting better and growing once more. Just wait on it
