So Thor is in a slightly odd state right now. It has amazing fighting potential due to the 3 second cooldown, being able to call down fire and lightning, and being able to get your wood incredibly fast.
But: it is incredibly weak in the lategame: people with armor take almost no damage due to this, and the same thing with lightning - it does ~0.5 hearts of damage to a full iron, which is pretty weak if you think about it.
So I suggest the following changes:
    • The axe has a 4.5 second cooldown now.
    • The netherrack is replaced with some other block to compensate this
    • Thor does 2 hearts of damage at all times - maybe even make this true damage!
    Thoughts?

Maybe cause 1.5-2 hearts of true damage with the same cooldown?

Replace it with a block that is not as easily mined

Maybe, though I think the fire damage helps compensate for the fact the actual lightning's damage isn't that great. With the fire you can constantly make it harder for the other person to fight and also chip away at their armor while doing a bit of damage. 2 hearts damage constantly to a full diamond/iron might be a bit much I think, if anything make it 1.

    Hmm :/
I think it's a valid amount though, 1 heart in the early game is most certainly too low.

you get damage for standing in fire, so that takes 1 off every time you catch them on fire

    1. Cooldowns are boring, its fine at the moment.
    2. Which block do you have in mind? Most blocks are either mined very quickly or mined very slowly, there's not many things in between that I can think of.
    3. Please no. 2 hearts of damage is barely anything - this will be useless against players who have no armour, considering a stone sword will do similar/more damage than this. Considering most fights are against players with no armour if you hunt (and Thor is a hunting kit), this would be a huge nerf for something which isn't really that OP.

I don't think Thor needs a nerf in the early game, or a buff in the late game. Thor is still a good kit, even though it isn't very good in the late game. Kits shouldn't be good in every situation, as it'll remove the strategy that is currently one of the only things HG still has going for itself. Its not as if Thor is useless in the late game either - the fire damage still allows it to have a smaller use against players with armour.

Thor currently does...0.5 damage (most of the time, sometimes 1 heart).
    Cooldown is currently 3 seconds.
I was thinking of cobblestone (with fire on top).
2 hearts of damage is anything? Currently, a stone sword does 2.5 hearts (which needs to be nerfed anyways). I feel as if Thor is very underpowered late-game, due to this low amount of damage it puts out (especially as the fire only does armour damage if someone stands in it - good luck with that nowadays, especially with the knockback being as high and wierd as it is now).
