Collected Build Updates

Hey all,

Recently we've had quite a few updates, so in the spirit of organisation I thought I'd update the update thread (what?) and get everything in one place. This'll mean that instead of having hundreds of stickies we'll have three: the most recent update, @Xelasi's super helpful information thread and this one. It also means that you won't need to scour through every page of the forums to find a small 6-month old update or whatever. Hope you find it helpful!

Recent Build Updates

1. Build Forum Updates

Released January 2nd, 2017

Introduced Build Showcases forum.
Introduced Builder of the Month award.
Changed Build Competition format.

(2. New Command - /save)

Released January 23rd, 2017

Introduced a way to force save maps.
Please note that /save is currently disabled due to a game-breaking bug. More information in the thread.​

3. Map Rank Updates

Released January 29th, 2017

All players now able to interact with redstone.
"Banned" permission now kicks players off the map.

4. Old Creative Worlds on Build

Released February 28th, 2017

Old Creative worlds imported onto Build.

5. Buy Extra Maps

Released March 15th, 2017

Allows players to buy an extra map slot to build on.
​

6. Enable PVP

Released March 23rd, 2017

New toggle-able option in the menu.
Allows players to fight while in /mode 0.

6. New Helper Rank

Released May 23rd, 2017

Allows players to build, but only while a map's Owner is present.​

7. PvP Toggle

Released May 31st, 2017

PvP toggle in the build menu will no longer reset automatically.

8. Sign Warps

Released June 17th, 2017
Clickable warps can be set on signs for easy navigability.​

9. Raid Trackers Implemented

Released June 20th, 2017

/track can now be used on Build.​

10. Player List

Released July 3rd, 2017

/where can be used to list players on their respective maps.​

11. Saving and Armorstands

Released October 15, 2017

/save can again be used to save map progress, but not rollback.
Armorstands can now be placed at a maximum of 20 per map.

12. Schematic Database

Released December 21, 2017

Database containing pre-built structures are now usable by all players.
Introduction of the assets book and /assets.​
