    Hi,

I just wanted to make this thread talking about "hackusations."

Personally, I think Brawl should change how hackusations are mutable offenses. I actually like hackusations; you kill somebody in such a way in which they actually think you're cheating because of it. I think they are actually quite funny and shouldn't be taken as a mutable offense.

Lemme know what you guys think on this topic, I'm open to all opinions.

P.S. My apologies if this isn't the right section, I tried my best. xD

I'm against warning/muting for hackusations if a player says something once or twice (I see staff warn for 1 time and it annoys me but what can I do :frowning: ). Now if the player is constantly going at it, then I'll warn/mute cause now it just got annoying.

Yeah, I agree. Obviously, they should be muted if they're spamming "HAX" repeatedly. xD

I don't mute unless it's rather excessive and done in a harassment kind of way.

Usually it's as a joke, and makes the person feel good about themselves. But if they're spamming chaT? Yeah. Definite mute

It ultimately comes down to the player acusing another. This is where the moderator has to be in tune with his or her community, to understand and know the player to discern whether or not the player is potentially causing flame, or means it as a playful joke. Despite this, it is against the rules and players should know not to hacksuate, whether they mean it as a joke, or not. In my opinion, coming from Raid, I believe this should be a mutable offense. We have quite a few active players who hacksuate, which in turn causes flame, quite often. Without it being a mutable offense, servers like Raid would be rampant with annoying, flame causing hacksuations.

Yeah, I play KitBrawl and there aren't any real specific players who hackusate, but there is the occasion "wow nice hax kid 1v1 me irl."

I normally don't mute someone for hackusations. I'll tell them not to accuse people of hacking and to submit evidence if they are sure someone is hacking. However, if they're repeatedly accusing someone I'll warn them and/or mute them.

In my opinion, I 'd much rather that people either /report, record and report or message a moderator. Hackusations really don't do anything other than potentially cause flame and alert potential hackers online to toggle their hacks.

When I was staff, I waited until it got to spam level before muting. Now, I just call it skill aura and people tend to calm down after that.

If it's excessive (even as a joke), or if they make a legitimate accusation and not use /report, then I warn.
Basically what everyone has already said. xP

Just report before you start hackusating. I understand that some people get mad if there is a hacker. I only mute if people start hackusating when I am online
