Idea Host Firework Display Contests

Introduction​

Well, after my recent loss (grief) of my Twilight Co. Firework Store which stored over 50 different fireworks, all made carefully and with patience by hand to have the best possible look and display when let off, I would like to see events hosted as a tribute to all those fireworks which were sadly lost.

The Contest​

In order to take part on the contest players will have to state they are joining the contest on the forums. Later, players will have to design and craft their fireworks in a time period of 30 days until the deadline comes. Later players will have to join a specified map in which players will show their fireworks. (A) chosen player(s) - builder(s) will have to judge which is the best looking one. The top 3 will get prizes such as ranks or coupons.

Rules​

• Each firework will have to be made by the player itself using a crafting table and the needed items.
• Copying fireworks from other players will get you disqualified.
• You can only have 1 firework.

Those rules are pretty much it.



I would like to hear your opinion, ideas or suggestions on that. Feel free to comment down below. I am loosing forward to hear your feedback.

 

I will make it so everyone can have only 1 firework.

 

1. They aren't disabled, are they?

3. Obvious reasons. The same reason we upload only one map for build contests.
4. Designing and crafting it to be unique. Maybe we can lower it to two weeks but 30 days so that everyone notices the contest.
5. There will be a few chosen players - builders (some known people), preferably 6-8 and will all of them joining in the same time which has been decided before hand. Time zone concerns are unfortunately a serverwide problem and no one can do something for that. A time should be chosen which is suitable for the most possible players.
6. Only one will count.

 

5. I don't think you quite get me. A special map will be designed my builders and there will be the place where the firework will be let off.
6. The judges will ask the player to chose only one of his fireworks and confirm it to be the used one.

 

It was also easy for some to copy skins from various sites on last year's halloween skin contest (talking from experience).

Why wouldn't they launch their fireworks when they are doing it for a prize?
