    First thing I can think of is loopholes to sell "EULA-breaking" items without violating the EULA, but there's already a known way to do that which is a hell of a lot easier and lets us get 100% of the money rather than "over half".

    Maybe selling ranks and the like through this "marketplace" could allow for some loopholes. idk, I haven't really looked into it yet

    IMO this is Mojang going back on what they tried to achieve with the EULA. Make a mandatory agreement that says servers can't sell certain items or ranks (which is how most servers made their income) to prevent people from making a profit off of their game, then they reverse it to help people “make a living."

    Doesn't even apply to PC.

    Minecraft has already been selling skins on these same platforms, so its just an expansion of that.
