Mingo is a great guy and I think he needs to be unbanned. The fact that he was banned for "tracers" and we still haven't seen the evidence for this means that he can't argue against the claims and tell you how he found people.

He was a strong believer in reloading the chunks to see players.

We also did /kill on alts and teleported to people in spectator mode.

Also there was the thing with hats that meant you could see people from further away.

In conclusion, I believe Mingo should be given another chance. Of course, he reacted very badly when he was banned, but I believe that to only be natural. He helped Brawl out financially and spent a lot of time here. I believe he's served his time and it's time to see the change that he has undergone and the new him.

Just because of personal dislike for a certain player, you should not be allowed to dictate weather a player has changed their ways. I agree with SoCool that players don't need to be treated differently.

Ones past does not need to dictate ones future.

Your history is hardly crystal clean is it. By your own logic, you should be banned right now.

People change. If you don't give people a chance to amend their mistakes and give people the chance of forgiveness, then what's the point of anything?

That's all fine, but what I've seen from discord shows me that he hasn't changed all that much. He seems to have this mindset of "fixing wildwest" still. Why can't he just play? It isn't about the tracer ban imo, it's about his communist regime. I really don't want to see that happen again and I don't trust that he's changed yet.

 

When conversing with him, I get the feeling that the "communist regime" phase which he went through was a genuine attempt to help the lesser players on Wild West. If you think about it, at the end of the day he wasn't killing new players, which isn't a bad thing.

Of course I cannot comment on the discord situation, but when I converse with him he seems like a genuine guy.

Yes, he now plays Counter Strike. But it would just be nice for him to be unbanned in the not so distant future so he can hop in when he wants.

Believe me. I'm all for giving people second chances, but his communist regime wasn't at all helpful to the community. Giving up freedom in order to remain protected is completely ridiculous.
