Would More Gamemodes make the server more popular?

    I feel like if the admins made more gamemodes the server would be a decent bit more popular, what do you guys think.

    I feel like if the admins had more active coders they could do more stuff to make the server more popular.

    What do you guys think?

    I totally agree. I'd love to see such things like Bedwars or Skywars as 2 fast paced Gamemodes to play for fun and not to be 100% competitive like other gamemodes!

    There was a server that ran out of money quite a while ago, Red vs Green or Red versus Green (google it). I don't know how Brawl is doing money-wise, but if they could maybe talk with some former owners of that server? (I never played it myself my cousin told me he liked it but it shut down.) The way they did with McPvP? I don't know a different place to put this, so yeah. xD.

    That's for sure if the server had more developers to code gamemodes. Brawl is currently working on War 2. Once they finish coding it they are probably going to work on another gamemode to update to the second version or even work on aa new one. My expectations are WarZ 2 or Party 2.

    Brawl wouldn't randomly just buy a gamemode, it probably shut down because it had no players, mcpvp shut down for other reasons. Brawl would need a good reason to buy it as they don't have a huge amount of spending money.

    I think adding new gamemode would be good but they dont have enough money or coders right now and should probably fix their current games before making new ones.

    The “admins" are already in the process of remaking or revising current gamemodes in an attempt to bring back some old players. Keep in mind though that when you use “admins" you are really referring to the Senior Moderators and Developers. All three admins have very specific roles in the server (Roke, forums management. Cuddled, staff management. Yinskape, network management.) and that none of these are devoted/aimed towards game design. In a perfect world, the Senior Moderators of each gamemode would be deciding where to go with their gamemodes, and telling the Developers what they want, so that the Developers can code it all in.

    Sadly this isn't a perfect world though.

    It wasn't because they didn't have enough players, they ran out of money xD. It was kind of a moneyless server to begin with, anyway.
    I guess not. But if it's cheap, simple and handy, why not? But, if Brawl's not making enough money, then forget it, of course.

    Nom leaving didn't exactly help in this way, did it? XD

    You shouldn't forget one point: More gamemodes do also mean more servers/boxes to spend money on. To make a new gamemode successful it would need a efficient way to make money, without giving players advantages through donations, due the Eula. In my opinion we should concentrate on finishing the cosmetics + adding them to the shop and releasing polished/new versions of current gamemodes, before coming up with new ones.

    I think that Brawl should first focus on keeping the current gamemodes good with updates etc, and if we mange to do that for each gamemode then it might be time to look into creating another gamemode.

    Doing what have been done so far, creating new ones and leaving the old (talking about some year ago) ones isn't a very effective way of keeping a lot of players. Updates gets most players just as hyped as a new gamemode and gives players a reason to stay.
