Idea Add Kits to Raid

This defeats the main essence of Raid which is Hardcore survival. People are meant to start from the ground up, not get free gear every day. If you die, then you should have done better (harsh, I know, but thats what Raid is) - So when you die, you pick yourself back up, and carry on. Becoming the best on Raid requires a lot of skill, and time, thats one of the reasons I and others find the gamemode fun. Kits completely change that, and ruin it in my opinion.

 

If you want kits, I am sure kit brawl would love to have you. As @Eil said, it's a hardcore survival server, it is not meant to be easy. Giving everyone kits would then devalue anyone who has put in a lot of work to get the gear they have.

 

Disagree, a lot of other hardcore survival styled servers like HCF are beginning to add kits which you can pay for. I think something like that would be cool (maybe not paying because that breaks the eula)

 

I've bolded the key word, or rather, acronym in your post - HCF - HardCore Factions
Raid isn't factions, if it were, then maybe kits would be acceptable, but it isn't.

 

You get stone tools when you first join + 1 tutorial book.

 

I think it's best not to have a kit. Raid isn't about getting free handouts and such, you go out with your team and grind to become the best. With the stone tools and tutorial book when you first join it's giving you a little push to go out into the map and get started one step at a time. The tutorial book is like a guide on how Raid works. A kit would just be too easy for players imo.

 

I really disagrees this is a survival based server or mini game that doesn't need kits at all. this idea is a -1
