New KitBrawl Map Issue

    Hi Brawlers,

    Ever since the new map came out for Soup FFA, I noticed that the PvP is less intense, which is one of the reasons I choose to play on this Soup FFA rather than others. I think the reason for this could be because there are a lot more places to hide, and overall the space is much bigger, which makes it less common to find a large group of people fighting in one space like I used to all the time on the old map, which would always be fun.

    This is just something I noticed, lemme know if you agree/disagree and why. Thanks :smile:

    I normally see large groups around the middle of the map or just around the outside of where the middle begins. I know what you are talking about and I would like a smaller version of the map would be pretty neat.

    Nope, less intense pvp because of loggers and teamers. But mainly loggers tho

    Overall, I think the new map actually looks REALLY cool, there are just problems with the way it functions.

    That is very true since I go in a fight and boom get a lag spike but I mean what do you expect its so big! Also it does look nice but, I kinda wish there was a lava pool somewhere again to kill those brutes and not get stuck in those large ladder places to be ganked out. (Happened like 8 times over this weekend)

    Yeah, I personally never get lagspikes but that could be your autosave timing.

    I have it set to the 30 minutes and I don't think it is that since it is mainly when I get in a fight or am in the middle of one. I dont think I take 30 minutes to kill one person.

    It's most likely a cause of you having either too little amount of RAM allocated to minecraft, or too much RAM allocated to minecraft. Both are bad for different reasons. Too little RAM, and your memory fills up too quickly, causing you to have to dump it often. Too much RAM, and your memory trash fills up to a huge amount and takes a long time to clear.

    I don't think that is the reason either since this is the only server where it happens :l But thanks for thinking of something that could have been it. Sadly I still have no clue :l
